Someone bought me Lily Allen's CD. I gotta say, I quite like it. To be honest I was quite surprised how easy I got into it. Will give it a couple more listens. Might even make it onto the ipod...

Absolutely hate it.

I mean seriously, she isn't even singing, you cannot actually hear what she says because all she is doing is mumbling along beneath the music and hoping the music drowns her voice out so you can't tell how crap she truely is.

I'd dread to think how she'd manage live when it's not as easy to get away with it, I doubt you'd be able to hear her mumbling at all then.

I guess on the more positive side, the fact you cannot actually hear a damn thing she says is probably a bonus.

Hehe. Agree with you on one of your points. She doesn't have a particularly strong voice, and its sometimes hard to hear her above the background instruments.

I don't think you need to have a good voice to be a singer/song writer - I said about 6 months ago Jamie T would be knocking Lilly off the charts becuase his style is alot better than hers in my opinion, but people knocked that off and he's just won a brit, ahwell like what you want I guess.
