You only think it is going to be complete and utter shite for 2 reasons:

1. It probably will be.

2. Highly anticipated MMORPGs such as SWG and EVE were total disappointments and you think the same will happen again.

But, the fact of the matter, as always, is that you just don't know until the game is released. So let's just wait until then before we start writing it off.

Problems I have at the moment:

There are so few classes. Ok admittedly only a select few classes in DAoC are actually playable at lvl50 but the variation is still there if people want it.

Also the mini-map is an awfully awful idea, I hate it lots.

The 'realm' element still confuses me, its the horde against the alliance yet you can still fight and kill your own side?

In fact one of the few things making this stand out more than any of the other up-and-coming MMORPGs is that its by Blizzard who havent made a bad game yet.

Middle Earth Online

uhm 6 classes with different skills, this wont be like daoc where there will be 2 or 3 main ways to spec your class and then some minor differences like 1 or 2 points more or less. Hell for hunter you got the 44 spear, 40bow, 32bc and 45bow, 39spear, 32bc and the few who go 50 bow (low spear) or 50 spear and low stealth or ofcourse low bc.
Now if i got it right in wow there will be more skills so there will be way more diversity within one class, so chance on having 3 wow hunters together and have them specced reasonable similar would be waaay lower than having 3 daoc hunters.

I just hope Blizzard will state a little bit more on hows resources, crafting and trade going to work in WoW. I would like to see the merchant element a bit more complex than DAoC.
