It's very obsure so I think a clue may be in order early on.

Leggy wins :)

Sorry for the Fred Savage theme. I can't help it if he was cast in two of the greatest films ever made :)

Moley, moley, moley, moley.

This may look like googlage but i loved both those films when I was wee :)

Those quotes always stuck in my mind...

ok next one:

He does fit the profile perfectly. He's intelligent, but an under-achiever; alienated from his parents; has few friends. Classic case for recruitment by the Soviets

Not too difficult :)

Define classic......obscure and japanese does not equal classic - as shown by Leggy's answers (sorry for the clue but couldnt think of another way to phrase). I think your a little obsessed with all things eastern going by your previous quote attempts

This phrase is lost on me.....is it another quote from an obscure japanese "classic" (damn I made the clue even more obvious).

1. Its not *obscure*, its widely recognised as a classic.

2. Big and Beardy is a reference to a storyline in Black Books.

EDIT: 2. And continuing the comments in the irony post :D

Its widely known as the original to the Magnificent Sevens remake. I've heard of it but, like most of the world, haven't managed to see it due to other films being preferable.

Yes some dodgy inferior american remake is quite clearly superior.
