Would have been nice that when Albion first defeated Legion a wider selection of guilds were invited. Oh well good luck with future hunts.

you are welcome to organise your own raids.
the lag was bad enough with sotl and LoE and seeing how much crap midgard had with loot distribution this was a whole hell of a lot easier

We had some great fun and we can do whatever we like in this game we are in no way obligated to bring the whole realm on these raids and even if we did we would be hearing people whining about unfair loot distribution and all.
Like I said if you want to kill legion go organise it yourself or do
you need sotl to take your hand I take you there?
geez you act like you cant have any raids without us.

And Yussef your bitchin really puts me off for ever wanting to organise a dragon raid.

Aye, no "We zerged it first" since it was already done. Nothing to achieve except loot. And other guilds can do it easily if they want to.

We've achieved much, but theres still alot of things to achieve.

I didnt want the loot, I knew about the raid yesteday, would have just liked to come, its not hard to otganise a raid anyhow. Would have been nice to see more guilds represented, if you cant listen to something simple then there's something wrong with you.

I am gonna plan a dragon raid soon and on that raid we're going to need a lot of guilds.
So look forward to that instead

Lag was insane as it was, why bring 200+ people when all they're going to do is make half the raid force ld? If you want to see legion killed, go do it yourself.

No need to be touchy Gomb/Danyan etc :) It was good fun and nice to see the two guilds working so well together so lets not spoil that.

We did it with two guilds because as has been seen by the Mids loot distribution is a nightmare and lag was bad as it was with 8 full groups. This way I simply split the loot down the middle and hand 4 uber drops, 6 normal drops and 500 diamond seals to LoE. They do what they want with it and SotL give out the loot how we want. I think a new level of trust has been established between the two of us so it bodes well for the future.

Thanks to Walker for getting us going on the idea and all of LoE for coming and listening to my commands during the trip down and the two fights.

I don't see what the harm is in both of us going down together. We both worked hard to reopen DF with LoE taking Nottmoore and Blendrake and Lake doing others. We went in and we had fun and both guilds came away feeling proud of their achievements and having had fun which for me is main reason i play. Big thanks to Walker for the idea and Gideon for leading us. Soulfly for being a sponge and Vayasen for sorting us lot out when there. Great fun had by all and enjoyable night :)

Yussef, maybe that wasnt whining at all but it sure sounded like it.

Yea the raid was fantastic...was very nice to see 60+ people from 2 guilds working so well. Kudus to Walker and Gideon for the organising....Soulfly..man you can take a beating :clap: and Vayasen for keeping us in shape (even if he did go LD :rolleyes: )

What do you expect? you ppl are talking like youre teh rox and you dont need the other people for your raids. Don't think that makes people happy.

Impressive work, well done to both Guilds involved :)

Knowing Yussef quite well I'd say he's not being "bitchy", the simple fact is that not many guilds have the numbers and/or levels to be able to take on Legion. Not yet anyway ;)

And -very- nice that you were able to get two sets of drops - so now each guild has the complete set. Couldn't have planned that better :D

Well done all, it was truly great to see two guilds working so well together. Special thanks to Gideon and Walker for the organisation, and I must also comment on Soulfly's tanking. Wow, that man can really take a beating, held the aggro from Legion the whole time we were killing him.

i don't think either guild acted like its elite to be honest. we went in their as fun and fun is what we had. sorry if you think we are acting elite but it wasn't meant like that - we just went in and killed legion - thats it :(

Sounds like your just out to start a flame war Teador....there were several reasons for just the 2 guilds. any more than the 60 odd people there and the lag would have been so bad we would not have been able to deal with the Legion and all the adds and as was shown when Midgard killed the Legion, the fighting over loot can get nasty...very nasty.

Saying that there's nothing stopping you and Yussef getting together a few guilds to go down and kill it....it really is fun and well worth the effort....the drops were just a bonus for most of us.

edit: the third reason was that EVERY single person there listened to the orders from the raid leader....almost every pull was organised. I think we maybe had 1 lag pull...not really anyones fault.

Wasn't like that honestly but whats done is done legion is dead and no discussion here will change that fact. Apologies to you Teador but there was no malicous intent on either guilds half to wound anyones pride or say other people aren't needed :/

I'll go sleep now and see what happens when i wake up...
