Matt matey, I do appreciate the support. I really do.
But these last 24 hours have been hours of Let The Steam Out within the Templars.
Obviously others have the same need and as I already said up above, always good to know what people really think.
Rather that than them keeping quiet.

Keep it coming ladies and gents, dont be shy.

Got two lovely paintings in c:/mythic/camelot/

And to clear it up...
I do not consider them 100% *proof* of RPfarming, but the pics along with the words typed by the SotL member in question makes one wonder... :m00:
Well I dunno what the pics you have show, but I only remember seeing one person from sotl, that doesn't really make for RP farming as once they're dead, they're well, dead and you can't farm them... :p

If you want to dance around it I will dance but I strongly suggest you ask Aethelstan about it because he obviously hasn't told most of the Templars how it was resolved. You do know he was wrong?

Should you want a full explanation I'll gladly give it but it shouldn't really be down to me.

A competent and self-confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariably a symptom of neurotic insecurity.

Methinks I will.
Let me get back to you on this one later.

That would make Aeth look fallible though, and we all know, Aeth is god, he is never wrong. ;)

People should leave them be and let them sort it out themselves its none of their business.Anyway i hope things get resolved between them.

For once(?), I'd have to agree with ol'Matt.

Templars are the only other guild in Albion, which I approve of. It would be a shame to see you guys disband over petty arguments... so get your act together! ;)

+ With these little comments/rumours of a couple acolytes getting upto no good in the frontier... why not just paste the whole evidence and have it proven right/wrong?

It was discussed and conclusions drawn already by the GMs of the guilds concerned, they kept it private as they didn't want a flame thread about the issue... :p
I'm not really sure what reopening the debate now would achieve other than a big flamewar, and we already have a nice flamewar going. ;)

Nonsense. Someone is always more capable of performing one or more tasks then another, this will invoke a desire to perfect one's self further, which can be traced back to jealousy.

Jealousy is an emotion like any other and in the right situation, can be experianced by any normal person. Depending on your defination of normal.

God is with a capital 'g' damnit... back to Bible School for you.

Further, stop taking the piss now Dannyn.
I know you enjoy it, but never once (to my knowledge) have Aethelstan flamed, tried to humiliate or spoken about you or any other SotL member in a bad way publicly.
Funny how you always are so quick to jump on the bandwagon and flame away, with little thought before doing so.

And no, I do not count /gu as a public place.
And no, he has not mentioned your name there.
So why do you constantly name him on a public forum when, as Revz has stated himself, this is at its heart a conflict between Aeth and Revz?

Hmm depends what you call public I suppose. He has flamed sotl on your public forums, which extends to a flame of me as a member of sotl. When called down for it he hastily edited his post and pretended it never happened though. Pretending he didn't say it doesn't mean he didn't.

Pot, kettle, black? If this is a conflict between Aeth and Revz, why are you sticking your nose in?
Also since when am I not allowed to support my friends on a public forum?

Think about where you cut and paste, it can make a sentence sound the opposite if done badly.

Dannyn:
He has flamed sotl on your public forums, which extends to a flame of me as a member of sotl.

Flaming a guild and flaming a person is, in my opinion, not the same thing.
Example: I strongly dislike USA and what that country stands for and I do voice that opionion on occasion, even when among Americans. But I do not dislike all residents of that country.
See the difference?
If you do take offence, I would guess it is due to you recognizing yourself somewhere in said flame.

Pot, kettle, black? If this is a conflict between Aeth and Revz, why are you sticking your nose in?

I have not put down a comment here regarding any specific person.
I did not name names in my posts regarding the encounter in Odin's.
I said 'senior officer', not *which* senior officer.
People may think it is Revz I'm talking about, since he is active in this thread. Sorry folks, wrong.

I have not stuck my nose into their personal conflict, I have stood up and answered posts made.
And considering the next quote from you is in regard to wether or not one is allowed to support ones friends, I would say you probably agree with me on the fact that supporting ones guild and friends is a right.

Also since when am I not allowed to support my friends on a public forum?

You are not supporting Revz, or SotL.
You are taking the piss on Aeth.
If you can't see the difference there, I feel sorry for you.

People judge each other too much in albion from other peoples views that isnt normally true thats why its turning into a warzone sometimes.

Um if you reread matt I think you'll find I wasn't the one complaining about people sticking their noses into things, merely about pebr's blatant hypocrasy.

Well its better then posting on public forums showing your anger towards each other then making the albion morale even lower.Come on guys we play the game for fun not for abuse.

I aint having a go at anyone sorry if it seems like it but please understand.

It's touching that so many people are concerned about our internal guild matters. Thanks for the kind words from Matt and others. Like all large guilds, we have personality clashes and like all internet communities, minor disagreements rapidly become huge roaring flamefests.

It's no secret that we've recently lost some old and valued friends, for reasons which clearly not all of us understand or agree with (if we all agreed, then either we'd all stay or we'd all leave, so I guess that figures) and I don't think it's over-egging it to say that there's a lot of people upset about it. Undoubtedly unwise words have been said by all parties, and the wounds are still raw. But they will heal. Ultimately, no disagreement over how a guild in a computer game manages itself is worth losing friends over.

Jadow - I deleted your post. Not Lamont. He was all ready to reply to it. I deleted it and asked him not to reply because we were already having enough grief dealing with the real issues, and I didn't want it to become a personal abuse competition. That may have pissed you off, but there you go. There are some people who seem to get a kick out of hurling or observing personal abuse - the internet's full of them (this place isn't called Barrysflame for nothing). I don't. I've said to you and Lamont in the past that you're both more similar than you'll admit. Both big characters, both large egos, both fiery tempers. I can't, of course, stop either of you from continuing to go at it hammer and tongs. But given that I like and respect both of you, and never quite understood why you didn't get on, I'd rather you didn't. Without wanting to sound like a primary school teacher, I think it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. You've both had your say. Now let it rest.

Many guilds go through these sort of convulsions from time to time, but they survive and prosper again. So will we. Sorry for the interruption. By all means continue speculation, flames, or whatever.

I wrote something along this line on the Templar forums a few hours ago....

Evolution only happens after a catastrophy.
If we want Albion to unite properly, then all cards must be laid out on the table and each and everyone know where they have each other.
Once done, the solving of problems can begin.
When the differences are solved, or at least aknowledged and agreed to live with but not let interfer in a way that harms the realms effort, then we can start working a more united Albion.
