Lair, g1, malm FFS!

situation was as follows:
G1: 2 lvl 50 sm's (one there for cash, one there to powerlvl his healer who was afk in g2)

G2: 2 lvl 45 sm's


And this is what happens: one of the g2 sm's have to leave, we continue pulling but xp plummets for g2 (weird innit?) were getting from 4-9mill pr kill unless I constantly spam pb (which I dont have power to do much)

Ppl in g2 starts complaining about xp getting crap, g1 ofcourse doesnt give a flying fuck because when we get crap xp, they get good xp.

I suggest that the sm in g1 who had healer stuck in g2 could let sm go afk and play his healer. Then we would have 1 lvl 50sm in g1, and one lvl 45sm in g2.

This was OBVIOUSLY too much to ask for, ppl started threatening to kick me and /ignore and ppl where threatening to leave and yaddi yaddi yada. I had earlier that day been a part of the group, but they had kicked me because I did too much dmg on the first pull. ( I got kicked and bumped to nr1 on list) I suggested that I could chill a bit with the nuking, but they gave me the malm-silence you usually get if you are not asking anyone specific and corner them.


A rm(49) in g2 suggests that he and a sm from g1 change spots, this was flamed and if not flameworthy, it wasnt a very good suggestion.

why dont you tell teh full story arnor, i am the sm in question and i arent there to powerlevel my healer but lets start the story from teh start.

At 8am this morning my healer was at H waiting for a group, i logged my sm on my other comp to move him from jord to malmo to level my healer while group forms, on the horse im asked if i will join a lair group, i explained that i was going to xp my healer a bit but if my healer could sit in g2 i would be morethan happy to help (who wouldnt), this was fine and when i arrived everyone was fine with this(had they not been i wouldnt have continued).

It gets to about 12pm and arnor joins g2, so now g2 has 2sm, g1 only has one, the xp from g1 was 2-5 mill for 3 full pulls so arnor was asked to leave, later on another lv50 joins g1 and we move to a different spot, all is going great, the xp was fantastic, then arnor goes afk without saying to his group, there xp drops massively as he is there sm (yes i do read g2 chat arnor) then he comes back says sorry i was posting on bw so g2 had an afk sm, he starts again and the xp picks up again for g2, i know cause my healer is getting capped each pull and each pull lasts 10 seconds max.

Arnor then starts yelling in caps that i was a selfish git who was leeching xp, then he says i should be kicked from the group at 3pm after being in it 7 hours cause he;s not happy, he had been in this group for about 1 hour. I never once mentioned kicking you arnor, EVERYONE else did, 2 others threated to leave if you didnt stop whining and bitching, the xp was super fast with a very very cool group, 4 kills every 10 seconds and you whine.

Tell the full story arnor next time, you said for me to disband and play my healer which NO-ONE except u wanted, and considering i had been there 7 hours its pretty damm lame of you to just join an start bitching, at least when you said in the chatgroup "right thats it im posting this on BW" we all had a laugh and you and im sure the group we are in reading this will agree.

I NEVER, I repeat NEVER said ANYTHING about you leaving, and I repeated this several times. What I did say, was that you could let your lvl 50 g1 sm be afk, while you played your healer. Which seemed very ok for me, since then both groups would have 1 sm.

We got from 600k! to 20mill, the only times we were getting 20mill was when I nuked my power empty.

And OFCOURSE your healer got good xp, she was 2-7 lvls lower than ANYONE in the group

the only time g2 got anything close to 1 mill xp was when you was afk, when u wasnt afk it was 8-20 mill, g2 are there to leech from g1 that is known fact, and the fact that anyone would think i would want to gimp g2 xp when i have a healer in it bewilders me.

This has been discussed in game and when i asked you if you agreed that killing at the speed we are would be better than me playing healer and not sm, you replied "i suppose as it would slow things down". There really is nothing moe to say on this issue, i have been in that group 9 hours now, i joined to help out under obviously good circumstances which im sure most people would take given the opportunity.

also when u went afk again i said id stop nuking to help xp wise for g2, yet was told to keep nuking by g2 because the speed and safety was much better.

Well since we are already discussing Lair and SM's.

(Btw I wasn't in this lair group)

Last time I was in lair we did forest pulls.. great exp.. we did 8-12 ww's mostly.

Started around 18:30CET.. and as you know there isn't any DT in the forest. Well we had this listkeeper (no names) who fixed the group etc.
I was one of the SM's in g2.. and this was the first forest group I was in. Anyway.. the thing I got pissed off about was that the listkeeper wasn't doing anything from 18:30CET until 22:30CET.. or he did IRL stuff.. like taking a shower, doing homework.. etc.. and he said he was too busy keeping the list... _but_ after 3-4 hours.. it was 14 people on the list!!! .. omg.

I was listkeeper as a SM on a Saturday in lair and I did my work (pbaoe) and I was still keeping the list!

But it didn't seemed ANYONE was bothered about this.. except me and maybe someone else but they wasn't saying anything.

So ... is it a new rule at lair that the listkeeper can just sit and leech? ..

I got so f*cking pissed that I left that group.. and never grouping with that person again.

It has always struck me as extreemly "funny" (not haha funny, more like - "hmm, now that is wierd" funny) how point of views differ in group 1 and group 2 at lair.

For most people in g1, it seems the common oppinion about g2, is that they are only there to leech.

For most people in g2, the common oppinion is that they are there to help kill mobs faster. Cause lets face it, if there wasn't a need for g2 - there wouldn't exsits a g2 cause it lower g1 exp.

What annoys me most (besides the mandatory drop-whine in the middle of pulls) is that people seldom seem to be willing to help others. I to have been in g2s with thoese 500K to 10mill exp per kill, and getting 500K is very saddening at that level. (eventhough you get 4 every pull).
And instead of shifting group configuration - people usually just says: "g2 are there to leech"

What I'd like to see, instead was instead of a g2 and g1, there would be 2 groups working together for same benifit. Fast exp.
I've been in g2 as g1 levels both at H/N and lair - to help out g2 people "leech" more exp (of course being a SB often demotes one to g2 nomatter level). And yes the exp might be a bit slower for me - but at least I can help other gain some more faster and who knows - maybe they will help me in some other way.

But of course - thinking of others and wanting to help other players isn't what being in the same realm is all about ......

Simple answer dont go to the lair.My shammie only went to lair twice i got pissed on by the current "listkeepers" at that time and so i made a pact with myself never to go there again and i'm damn happy i never did.Lair breeds bad vibes at the best of times cus some ppl are too fecking greedy for their own good.Just leave the place and go somewhere else.And as for the lair being the best place for xp i say BLAH,i'd rather solo ten greens than having to put up with 1-2 arseholes.
