Hard to tell, the routers after the last visible sprintlink routers aren't processing ICMP requests. Might be caused by sprintlink, might be caused by OpenTransit or GoA.

Go to options and try using TCP Packets on port 10622 to see routers even if they don't process ICMP packets. This requires WinPCap though: http://www.winpcap.org/

All the pingplots (including Eeben's) look like problems with Sprintlink routing to OT. So for once it's not OT but another provider that's causing it. The latency is the latency to the hop so it's usually the one before the spike that's causing the problem.
Probably worth hassling your ISP to see if they can escalate it to Sprintlink.

But how come not everyone is getting this lag? I asked guildies and alliances, and they said they had no lag. I've had to put up with this lag since the servers came back up this afternoon :(

It's going to depend how you're routing. If you're coming through a different set of hubs (because you're connecting from somewhere else or from a different provider), then you may well not be running into the one that's causing the problem.

Had same problem yesterday, 2-3secs lag on all actions.
Im also from Denmark.

Using Visualroute it shows that the sprintlink routers are placed in...<chime> USA :D now isnt that brilliant routing :D

Wonder why.....

Im not sure the problem is TDC...its true they route us via spiritlink, but it should have been london/amsterdam or summit and from there on to paris...So I doubt its TDC?

No routing expert tho so whaddo I know ;)

I just spoke to 2 different TDC clerks...both about as clueless as wallpaper. They only knew nothing was wrong with TDC routing atm (not gonna trust those 2 tho...coz they were frickin stupid).

And btw..my ping doesnt explode untill opentransit...the 120ms thru TDC/spiritlink isnt bad enough for this kinda lag. I can show you 20 tracerts from today with opentransit.paris as the culprit with 500-800ms ping.

It'll be the hub before the one where you're getting the 500-800ms ping that's causing the problems.

Can you tell from the pingplots where the problem is then? on the last spiritlink hub? and you got any idea why we're being rerouted thru US? >_< (I know you have no real basis for knowing, but hey...who knows ;))

It's not your ISP, but, it's the ISP's ISP (yeah, ISPs have ISPs too). Compaints should go to your ISP, not to GoA or Opentranshit.
