CS line is gimped.
Sword and Axe styles generally are gimped.
So we could all spec 50 base env and stealth, or not.

!!!!! no its not, depends on how you play and what targets you chose....Look up some of ixa's videos on vnboards and tell me he's gimped
I have done some amazeing stuff with my bladeshade...but in straight up combat I could use that stun tho.
Compared to LA yes...But for some of us CS is all we got.

Generally I find that left axe is ok as long as it doesn't come with a truckload of buffs behind it and endless endurance, I dunno, I expect zerkers to kill me it's what they are supposed to do. I think its good that certain classes from different realms have different strenghts and weaknesses.
To tell the truth the only reason I had a pop at Klav was that I wanted to see if the foxy norse's self anti-publicity was true and she realy was as Klav often touts, a gimpstress .
I was glad to last as long as I did(I think the Strenght con debuff which crit'd as far as I remeber and disease took away alot of the damage that was inflicted on me though).Well thats my pov for what it's worth.

Few points..
If infils didnt get so many points they'd drop cs to get 50 thrust(dragon fang)
Reason we take LA higher than CS is because 34 CS is needed for CD, 39 LA is needed for Frosty Glaze.
No offence but you really dont have the slightest clue at all about LA having never played with it, only being hit by it. GOA fucked up bringing end regen in with RA's, was intended doublefrost be hit 44 times till ooe, they fucked up, so the entire LA spec gets a kick in the bolox..... again.
Remove RA's and you got a nice game back.

I got a few screenies, not so good though, but you can see some of the dmg l do with my hamster.
My char isn't the quickest char of all, so l have a very low qui.

Remember, no char can be uber to kill every single target they find, most forgets that.

the thing people forget about sb's is that if you wield an offhand axe your basedamage gets lowered to 60% + 0.5xsLa spec , so if you're training la you better train it high or your damage is gone

so, you say basically all style lines are gimp except la. That sounds a bit like the old "wrongway driver" thing..
to me that shows that la is severly better than other style lines. If you say cs spec is gimped - well its WAY better than blade spec or pierce spec. Piercing has one fine style, diamondback, and blade has zero.
So you can either say la is the only viable and every other spec line is gimp - or you say la is just a tad too strong maybe? Well imo it would be better to beef up the other style lines instead of nerfing la, but they would never do this.
Fact is, a non-sleeping shadowzerker is impossible to beat without major amounts of luck, whereas a critblade or infiltrator is a thrilling fight. If a shadowzerker was just exceptional at beating other assassins, fine! But i cant think of many Situations where a sz is not as effective as a critblade, except for keep raiding situations.
Zerkers are fine and should deal massive damage especially while they hamster. I guess my biggest problem is with the cookie cutter shadowblades wich are plainly too strong in comparison to nightshades. (i cant speak for the infiltrator fraction)

Taking all this into account, i still expect an assassin to hit harder with its class defining attack, wich can be pulled off only once per fight and with some amount of setup required.
My caster friend keep telling me that they get perfed for 450 damage regularly in RvR, with full resists of course. And they keep telling me that zerkers do about the same each swing... is that supposed to be right?

Oh just remove LA from shadowblades and give them DW or something instead.
Bringing DW/CD up to par with LA wouldn't be a great idea..can already hear the "nerf assassins!" screams ;o
