Hello People,
I am at work and have a bit of a quandry. I have a second hard drive that is split into 5 10 gig partitions, its a Maxtor of some kind. The problem is with the final partition which is screwed up, this is bad because it had the music collection on it :(, I have tried formatting the thing but after Windows does its format job it just says unable to complete. On reboot the system runs chkdsk and tells me it is fixing errors on K: but when windows eventualy boots and my computer will grudgingly open K: is not accessible.
I don't think I can save it so I just want it to disappear, but I will be buggered if I can find a partitioning tool, the computer runs off Win2K with service pack 4. Any thoughts would be appreciated, other wise I will have to wait till the next techie chap comes out :)
