keyboard problem...

ok,,,,

basically i performed remote assitance on a friends pc, they using a laptop i using a normal computer with normal keyboard,,, now for some reason their laptops keyboard layout has gone all funny! such as typing okay = 62ay... tried loads of things but still it seems to have adopted my keyboard layout.. any ideas!!!

They've got the number lock turned on. Tell them to look for the numlock on the keyboard and turn it off. It'll probably be a second function of a f key or another key along the top of the keyboard.
