I know the BBC aren't exactly clear of bias, but compared to Sky News they're the epitome of journalistic professionalism.

She was being obtuse, her line of questioning was intended to downplay the issue or when that failed make it look like he was having a rant against a Tory minister, which he wasn't.

The guy addressed the broad issue, as he also did in parliment. She was point scoring and failed at every attempt, he might of come across as a cock to you Wij but he was 100% right and went on the offensive because if you don't on Sky News you get fucked over double quick. The job of a news interviewer is to probe not to give a platform for opinions and fawn over them. She may not have done a very good job but that's no reason to act like a prick. Also, Labour have had quite an obvious strategy with Sky for at least a year, whereby at the slightest provocation they accuse of bias thereby rendering all questions ineffective as 'everyone knows' Sky are Tory. That's why Adam Boulton lost his rag the other month as they've been using that spin-trick for a while now.

At least when 'everyone knew' that the BBC were biased for Labour you didn't get Matthew Parris calling John Humphrys a thick shit.

She's a smarmy bitch who shouldn't be in the position she is in. I want people with intelligence asking real questions so that as much information can be gleamed from the interview as possible. Instead of getting some more information about the actual topic she managed to turn it into the Kay Burley show again.

A lot of interviewers are starting to use this technique of a sly remark to make the interviewee look like an idiot or discredit them.

I'm glad she didnt get away with it this time round and I hope other people take the same stance this guy took to combat this idiotic style of questioning.

I think John Snow has a very good technique to probe into a subject. We neeed more like him
