You hit for +134damage so that target was either debuffed or lower level then you. It was also a 40%ish crit.

We all know the 1400 damage screenshot by certain savages but mids (not saying you are one) then stated about how it didn't matter because damage like that didn't happen all the time. Just like my being nuked for 950+ today with full resists (undebuffed) by a chanter is a one off and doesn't really come into it.

Target was 50 RR3 or 4 and in TOA eq as far as I could see, but was Spirit debuffed and I had 25% resist pierce + and MoM 2 + Traldors charge up

It's a pretty unrealistic screenshot of Sorcs average damage, however it was fun at the time

I had a savage, and deleted him, actually deleted him because he did too much damage, sad I suppose

Generally if we compare the 3 main mezzers of each realm we ll notice that each one can do 2 things.

Healer is for heal + mezz

Sorc is for nuke+mezz

Bard is a bit more overall with heal,base buffs ,speed + mezz


Imo the utility of a healer is a bit higher than the sorcs one and the bard's is a bit down from those 2.

Sorc nukes well because this is something he is implemented to do like the other main mezzer classes on different things.

As for rr5 ability of sorc i agree that it is a bit overpowered but if i start making a list here for all the overpowered things that some classes have i will celebrate new year writting

Here's why she's QQing:

You have 2.5k hps, and you get 3 shotted by a sorc. Now that took maybe 5s from the sorc's point of view (mez, s/c debuff, lt, lt, lt). From the tanks point of view, you have 2s to react after first lt hits. Given network lag, you probably won't be able to do anything. As it happens I was mashing /face insta dot and IP, sometimes that works, but not that time.

That is the current state of things in small scale rvr. I've been on both side of this playing an enchanter and a vw.

Mages are too vulnerable and too damageing. Some tanks are too damaging too (I can 2 shot some buffed casters, that's poor game design) .

Hib casters have hit hard for a long, long time so Hibs can't really complain.

As for tanks, our time will come again. Mythic will introduce backdoor changes that at first seem trivial yet the impact will be to castrate casters and we back to tankalot. That's the way it is.

their dmg is not via a lt nuke though, which is the main reason why sorcs are deemed op imo, moc lt, ml9 pet etc, its too much;p
