I've been nuked many times by various mages to know what dmg they are capable of doing.

179x3 = 537 (nuke cap)

26% (resist cap) of 537 = 139.62

537 - 139.62 = 397.38

this is assuming the sorc dont have any damage ras (which i dont have, im a mind sorc so went for cast speed ra's as primary ra's).

so in conclusion.... u talk shit

Maybe you should note i play a cabalist whit exactly the same lifetap, which i debuff 30%, and whit my 10% casting speed and my 350 dex when buffed (Aug Dex4 here i go) i CANT nuke under 1 sec each lifetap, because, Mr Grapplebot, THERE'S A CAP IN CASTING SPEED AT 40% OF YOUR SPEED DELVE!.
And whit MoM3 and 10% spell dmg my actual cap is 560, add to that a , VERY RARE, 50% crit and we have....840 damage. So even in the VERY RARE case of getting a PERFECT crit and after DEBUFFING (and ffs, you are a warden grapplebot, why dont you have you body resist up noob?) and counting ToA bonuses and resist piercing and having over 50 in body spec my BEST hit on a player will be 840, and you come here saying that non self-debuffing sorcs rutinely hits you, a warden whit body 24% resists buff, for over 900 damage, in UNDER 1 sec cast time lifetaps, mmmmkay.

its really hard for a sorc to do 500 dmg with lifetap if not bodyspecced, with specnuke i do about 450-600 dmg depends on resists, but every caster with powerrelic do that dmg easy.. lol

I leveled a sorc in pve only and there seem to be a bug !? I spammed lifetap spell fast and sometimes it totally skips the animation and it seem to hit twice almost instantly. ( doesnt seem like server lag )

Well, i'm RR4 yet and need to overcap int and get some aug accuity, and 560 is whitout archmagery and tartaros 5% bonus. But even whit that is not like 900+ dmg is an usual nuke

Like jaapi said, its just way to much damage, really fun when u get mezzed and ur dead in like 0.4 secs cause 3 casters targetted u...

And atm when some caster mocs i can do shit against them, to low damage output so the only thing i can do to save me is ps or zephyr (but then they come here whining they didnt 3shot u and that its not fair blalba cry cry).

Hibs have been playing the last 2 years with +20% damage almost non stop....now albs have only +10% damage and see: the whines are big...

900 damage done by a sorc is indeed a lot....(I have a nice screenie of just over 1200 damage on PvE) although I usually do "only" around 500-ish in RvR, ...Sure, thats a lot but Im a RR5L9 sorc with, WP3, 340-ish Int, +5% damage but 47 (!!) in body...that means 26 mind = I loose the lvl 50 pet, no nice Pot, no mezz reduction, a blue aoe-mezz (which fails a lot)....

ok so let me get this right, what ur really trying to say is that any sorc who spends a lot of time/cash on getting an absolutely perfect TOA temp with everything capped (dotn even know if its possible) and spends the majority of his ra points for dmg............. should be nerfed?

im willing to put money on the fact there is no more than 5 (if that) sorcs on excal with this kind of capabilty.

which leads me to my conclusion, why the fuck should i be nerfed for playing my class as a primary CC'r, when everyone else around me is rerolling and going fotm dmg specced? i think u will also find the dmg increase is more to do with relic bonus than anything else, hibs had 20% for 2+ years and im pretty sure thats helped with the bulk of ur rps. now we get 10% and ur whining like a bitch. like i said, get over it, u lost a fight and cant take it and start a whine thread like a random noob and imo ur no better than them.

no but it was based on a fight against me, u said it urself this is the 1st time u complained about it and i aint even dmg specced AND was assisting a cabby.

ur whole argument is flawed by far to many variances, u assume every single sorc on excal has capped toa gear? got mom4-5? wp 4-5?, its just bullshit tbh.

the single biggest variance that u aint even taking into account while whining ur ass off is the pow relics, take them away from us and u got an average dmg dealing class.

tbh i couldnt give a flying fuck if they nerfed it, i happily played my sorc when he had 140 delve lifetap as his best nuke and id go back to it with no whines, imo id still give u a slapping.
