Judgementday for stealthers!

Well sapping strike just got 'adjusted' 2 or 3 days in - I think we'll see quite a few 'adjustments' to master abilities.

And thankfully we have all those nice US servers to beta test the screwups for us - isn't that swet of them.

Totally biased post sorry - I hate stealth classes, esp. Stealther Adds when fighting fg vs fg,
Mythic have done a good thing, this will lower the stealther population and leave only the dedicated.

oh lol, haven't read it all but still enough. This is just bloody stupid. Mythic sure know how to screw up the game. Hope WoW will be out soon and I like it.

Well, dont be so sure about that. The amount of stealthers have become way to many, both in US and here in Europe and this feels like a move from Mytix to bring the population back in line. But as usual they overnerf.
And lets say they change it to a 1000 range/10 min timer...we are still doomed, or say they change it to 500 range/5 min timer...dosent matter...when you think about it.

How will stealthers with snailspeed get away from sprinting gankgroups with maxspeed? How fast will they scan milegates and possible camp spots? especially when most powergamers seems to have radar these days. You wont be able to camp milegates...you wont be able to camp the ordinary routes. In fact; the only place left to camp will be a zone wall corner in Jamtland.

Absolutely great. I been told on guild chat how this will propably be nothing and no reason to whine, it will be fine becaue surely Mythic would not make such a mistake, just look at LA nerf, you guys are still fine etc. Funny how people saying these things are all nonstealthers, who after dying to stealthers seems to think stealth should be removed after all. Well, now it is, enjoy your nonstealthed game with nothing but zerging around by the realm with highest population.

Seriously, I doubt this will go in like this. Just talked to friend playing at US and what he tells me about this, omg. Time for steatlhers to become light infantrymen without stealth, begging for regular groups? :)

Nope Gargo, it wont lower the stealth pop, it will exterminate it completely.

Nice change, maybe I wont get jumped by 5-6 stealthers when I try to solo with my SM then. Altho...if you cant jump soloers with 5 or 6, you might actually have to style to win, so I understand your complaints aswell.

Well, for one thing, Mythic gave people the option to play this kind of calss to begin with, we have done so from the beginning and some of us enjoy the chars we been developing, some of us just might see this as a bit unfortunate considering all the time and effort (yes effort) put into these guys.

Second, many people play stealther to get away from stressfull fg play. Trying to get a group, dealing with people who don't know how to play in a group, dealing with zergs, dealing with people who quit after dying, sitting around tk waiting for ages for some needed class etc. Stealther is freedom from that, its relaxing when you only have some time to play or when you want to go where you want to go, when you want to go. I for one, just cant be on comp for such long periods to be in FG kind of play, family things etc.

Just few reasons Belomar, I'm sure there will be many others who point out how stalthers are antisocial and should be punished harshly for that or something as creative like it.

Doubt many people are gonna go out specifically hunting for stealthers. Well maybe hib/mid stealthers will suffer with alb zerg camping amg 24/7.
Prefer to go after the bigger game in rvr - fg's, not random stealthers that giv 200rp. Theres the whole amg/mmg issue thing, but well, should stop stealthers campin there

How so? Because stealthers loose abit of their untouchable imago?

You can see me, but I cant see you. Suddenly this changes partialy (I still need to do alot of PvE to get this thing) and this will exterminate stealthers?

You had God-mode for far too long as stealthers, I truely hope it will lower stealther population by a fair bit.

Well think of the times you've been aided in rvr by stealthers?

Where they've been out as spotters around the frontier calling in enemy movements - I know I do it a lot.

Where you've been charged by enemy forces and archers have taken out their ranged attackers and support, or assassins have popped on their healers/support.

Where stealthers have gone on to keep walls to take down enemy archers/nukers/support to protect your door whackers.

Where a friendly stealther or two has provided cover for resting casters/groups - or gone after enemies attacking PvE'rs in DF.

We're your scouts, your skirmishers, harassers of enemy troops and cover.

No we leech there RP tis all the whine i get in game if i so much as hit someone thats fighting fgvfg or more so i tend to watch em die now its fun.

Not sure what effect it's going to have on stealthers, but they're far from dead.

Don't forget there's a couple of abilities in the sojourner line:

Sojourner
Reveal Crystalseed - Sweep Mine
Unmake Crystalseed - Disable Mine

lol, stealthers aint untouchable, they are mainly fighting each other(and while doing that; unstealthed, exposed to passing fgs).

This dosent change partialy...this gives most casters perma TS and you dont have to do alot of PvE to get it, its MA 2 for Christ sake. Wake up, dont be so naive.

God-mode? Since when did stealthers have that ability? I admit that stealth is a very powerful ability, perhaps to powerful as it is now, but to call it god-mode is way out of order, especially now, with the amount of stealthers we have on Excalibur.

Guess you have to play a stealther to understand what we are talking about here. Everything always looks easier on the other side.

I feel sorry for all young stealthers who have burned days, perhaps weeks to reach Lvl 50, to get sc-gear and are looking forward to play RvR for months to come.

So every mage in a group is gonna stop every 15s to cast one of those bubble things? Doubt it

What's stopping them from still doing that?

This is just gonna lower the stealther population as people no longer have their easymode class now. Maybe stealthers will start havin to use their brains, ie. RvR away from milegates.
