I can confirm that Joltezz indeed has promised to give me 16 of these plats (16 plats was stolen from me by Jarvio and his 1337-haxx0r crew). So yes, indeed a Robin Hood act of epic proportions

Think you are getting public and Private Ip addresses mixed up, you cannot have the Same Public ip address

Each IPv4 interface requires an IPv4 address that is unique within the IPv4 network. In the case of the Internet, each IPv4 interface on a subnet connected to the Internet requires an IPv4 address that is unique within the Internet.

For instance if you have 3 computers behind an ADSL router they will all have the same PUBLIC IP address, but differant PRIVATE IP Addresses. A public IP address gets assigned to you by your ISP when you connect to the internet, Sometimes Your isp will give you a fixed IP address or will Lease you one over DHCP.

Let me put it another way, if two house on the street had the same house number, it would be difficult for the postman to know where to deliver the letters to. It is the same in principle with public ip addresses.

You may have 3 people at the same address but when the letters get to the house you know who they are for (NAT).

I am not saying that half the town cannot have the same IP address its just that ISP do not usually NAT a whole town.

We could go one further and say if towns share a same PUBLIC IP address then why cannot a country. In fact it is the other way around we are running out of IPv4 addesses and are heading towards IPv6 addressing
