i tried to play the demo, but it decided that 1024x768 was the perfect res for me... unfortunatly this crappy monitor only does 800x600... and i couldn't find a manual change anywhere

Well i cant stop playing this game, its really really good. Its lots better than BF42/V and yes so it has a few bugs but my goody is it fun. Also some of the maps are a little large (one island hoping map is 60km2) but most of the maps are spot on. It reminds me of the best bits of OFP and the best bits of BF:V all rolled into one.

Why there isnt much interest in this game around here is weird, but i reconmend this wholeheartedly.

Bought it today, been playing on the East Coast server (am in Canada atm).

Only played about 2 hours but its quite good, I've always enjoyed the Novalogic games though so expected to like it.

Only one complaint overall - it feels a bit "cold", not really THAT involving. To be honest I couldnt give a fuck about the objectives or anything I was just running round twatting people andn not caring about the big picture.

Its forced into much more of a team playing experience, pressing v enables ways of setting up waypoints, setting up mortar attacks etc. Of course your team has to play balll too but even so the team dynamic is much more realised than in BF:V for instance where i find myself just running around hitting stuff as much as possible.

The 150 player servers are amazing too, even tho the maps are ginormous theres usually concentrated firefights around the Flag points as the HUD display is brilliant at directing the action.

its a pretty good game in my opinion they just need to balance some stuff out a bit better e.g make those tanks a little easyer to kill

quality game. first time ive seen the sniper rifle have realistic ideas behind it. now you need to compensate for elevation etc. i always like to be the sniper in every game. not to be lame, but i like snipers IRL and what they do. i dont spawn camp or anything.

i got one guy when he was running. i shot it. 3 seconds later the guy ran into the bullet .

Does this game get boring fast or do you guys still play it? I got a mate who bought it so I might try it out with him

man this game has never got boring yet. i found the Uk servers best - rice paper and pork rind are good. some games can last for ages though which is loadsa fun. its the only FPS where i have found i cant wait to play it again
