Its not £3 difference, I couldn't find it for less that £38 in any other shops. And its the principal of the thing.

I went and bought it for 34.99 in Game. I wanted to buy it on Steam but there was something wrong with Steam that day and I couldnt.

The bloke gave me the game and said "oh yeah mate this is excellent, have you played it?" "No" says me "it only came out today" "no, the demo of course" he says, with all the confidence of a 20 year old who works in Game. I was going to say no son, there isnt a demo, but I couldnt be bothered.

Anyway, later that night I picked up my son who also wanted to buy the game, so we went to PC World, where they are selling it for £29.99 :(

Oh well ...

Still wish I'd bought it from Steam though.

The game is great so far, just what I expected it to be.

The MP has so far been a bit crap mind, but that's just what I expected it to be too...

I've not tried co-op yet, looks fun though.

I was toying with getting it for the PC but my PC is being very dodgy recently and getting it to do things has become a bit of a struggle. It also absolutely refuses to allow me to update anything at all so that would have been a pain.
I'm not too fussed now tbh I was just angry at the bloody thing being sold out at asda. You see there's an asda where I work but not where I live and I'm not travelling the 60 mile round trip just for the game this weekend. It's the Yorkshire blood in me telling me not to buy something for full price when its cheaper elsewhere :)

Grabbed it, unfortunately it's very very short.

Played thru it in LAN co-op with 3 other mates and we pretty much blasted thru the main campaign in a few hours. Which is a shame, because there are some real good missions in there.

Alas, not really a fan of deathmatch or team deathmatch in these types of games (only bought it for the SP / co-op MP), so now I'm sitting waiting for some missions to come out. I'm guessing it wont have the modding community that Op Flash 1 or ArmA has tho :(

Hope those help :)

The modding community have had advanced tools pre-launch so they can get going on mod's/maps. The Flashpoint Dev's have also been working on DLC and other content, which is weeks and not months away.

I got this the other day but why on earth does the Friends/Invitation menu's take so long to do anything in Multiplayer mode?

Finally got my copy today.

Why does the title screen make me want to watch black hawk down again?

We have been playing it via a virtual LAN with Hamachi, with (mostly) good results.

Actually quite enjoying this game on single player atm. Haven't tried multiplayer because I need to upgrade my live account.

There do seem to be some quite serious flaws with the game though, the worst one being the checkpoint save system. With a game so random and with any number of things that can go wrong in these quite realistic fire fights, it seems a bit unfair to have to run the same mile again and again just because one of your team mates decided to stand up at the wrong time. All other faults would be acceptable if they'd have included some sort of quicksave feature.

And who's idea was it to put time limits on the missions with no way of keeping an eye on your time left until a radio message chimes through?

Anyone fancy getting a FH co-op game going? Really fancy playing this through a bit but the AI of the computer is driving me insane!

I can't for the life of me understand why anybody would want to do that in any game, let alone this one.

I'm up for a FH co-op but I'd have to put my fat harry white voice on because I don't want you guys making fun of me on coms lol.

I said fat harry white not Barry White, there's a difference.

I'll have to let you know nearer the time, my weekends can be very random.

Well in this game it sorta makes sense to put it on as the ai aint improved it just removes your entire HUD :)

Good call with Hamachi there. I played some coop last night with friends and we couldn't quite get it working. Was very slow, and often just came-up with server connect errors. We ended-up using Hamachi and it worked well, we did seem to have to do it via 'connect to ip' though.
