How do you get the iTunes XML onto a network share? Can't seem to manage this :/What's your home setup like?
Personally all my music and my itunes XML file is on my NAS, this way I can mount it as drive X on any PC and use that iTunes without it being a dick about everything.
It's not apps. It's music tracks.Just hold down on the app on the screen (iphone wij, not your monitor!) and press the little x to delete?
Have you tried removing them form your Library al together then syncing?
Also check you iCloud settings if you have auto download turned it it might be resyncing them because you purchased them.
There's a option in iTunes that says sync only checked tracks or similar which enables that function. To be fucking honest though just delete One Direction completely unless you're about to embark on a lifetime of grooming you dirty bastard!Embarrassing problem
I downloaded Apple's 12 days of Christmas app and downloaded all the free gifts. Now, many of them were shit and I now want them off my iPhone (One Direction for fuck sake) but unchecking them and then syncing the phone doesn't delete them from the phone like it does for tracks that I ripped from CD.
I need your help Peg
/edit: Coldplay too. Oh God help me.
Explain the second point please. I don't understand
Aha - that's all turned off. They aren't redownloading. They just don't go.
- Tap Settings > Store on your device.
- Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
- Enter your Apple ID and password.
- Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

If the option is not enabled, unticking tracks in iTunes does NOT stop them syncing to your devices. There's a option in iTunes that says sync only checked tracks or similar which enables that function.
