On the bright side - when I'm retired young whippersnappers like Tris will be working 29 hours a day just to pay their tax to keep social security going for the old duffers. They'll probably have to work 6.5 days a week as well (best give them a day off so they can get some sleep & nibble on a cheap soya + protein bar).

Hopefully Global Warming will have kicked in then as well so I can be left outside to go a nice shade of brown as my current VDU tan is looking a little wrong.

hmm the whole paradigm of time speeding up as one ages might explain why people feel the need to tell you how old they are at every given opportunity. It's not that they are telling you its that they are just checking another year hasn't slipped by.

I like all the seasons, except the "new" winters. Where snow has been replaced with rain and mud Winter without proper snow is so dark. Can barely get out of bed

And this summer/year has flew past insanely fast!½
