Actually, I study the archaeology of human origins, i.e. evolution and complex social relations in monkeys and early hominids. I want to do my phd and research and lecture it.

My degrees un archaeology, dug in

England, Hungary, Germany etc

Its a lot harder then people think, archaeology isn't about the digging, its the interpretation of of the material culture you dig up.

I.e. my dissertation was on using lower palaeolithic stone tools to make inferances about the social complexity of humans around 300,000 years ago.

I looked at the way the tools were manufactured and weather there were patterns in the the aesthics etc. Sounds boring, but it was very interesting.

I love my subject to bits though, feel lucky to have choosen it and taken such a loving to it.

Never hate being Welsh - if all these English are using some words that us Welsh cant understand, just talk back to em in Welsh - that will do it.

I did it once completely by accident when a tourist pulls up and asks for directions and I just answered him in Welsh without thinking about it. He just gave me a hell of a wierd look and drove off. In the wrong direction I may add

Splits into 3 sub subjects though;

Cultural Anthropology
Social Anthropology
Archaeology
