Is this the game with a friendly face?

I played SWG for nearly 1 month now.
Not even once (it's true) have a seen any people arguing or giving me or anybody else an attitude.

Is it something that comes with the end game, PvP, Krayt Dragon hunts etc. or do this game just make people act nicely?

I think at least removing the true xp grind, as seen in DAoC e.g. is helping the game to have a better community.

this is true, also the game is new, so not that many ppl have learned to know each other, and/or hate each others guts

in daoc theres a "big" pronlem with ppl always fighting, and in a grp, 50% of the time there will be some1 that doesnt like each others

Something ive noticed in swg, is that ppl are mor willing to help with all kinds off stuff...
like the time i wanted to bye a pet... i was 1k short of credits, and the guye gave me the pet for free. it was a Wrix in daoc every1 has to make a profit of everything.

At my second day in SWG I got a noob mission for some noob critters and after I got incapped by one of those some combat medic runs there does /spit on me, calls me a stupid noob and cleans the area and the lair.

I got up and told him that I could have handled them eventually and he again insults me and tries to duel me.
When I refused him he started to laugh at me because I cant even handle a simple medic.

Only rude person I have seen since. Shadowmaster/killer/something was hes name and server was Bloodfin.
(that server has major 1337 dude problem even if all of them are not so hostile)

There are some rude/nasty people but the lack of static spawn sites that people tend to camp for hours on end and get all defensive about helps a lot.

Most people are quite friendly, except that Dweam person

If you go to the Krayt graveyard you will see the nasty sides of some people though.

i think there will be Imp/reb isues later in the game

but not for me i encounter always nice peoples

last week i took a noobie friend to anchorhead to help him join the rebelion, after a few very crappy missions we trotted back to the town an found 1 novice marksman tagged imperial running around lobbing mind poison on everyone and hiding in the basement of the cantina...

what annoyed me most was the rebel master docs and bounty hunters that stood around and doing nothing as 1 imp lamed the mission terminals

so i called up my friends an we went to town on Mimi, silly combat medic didnt bring any dizzy packs, so it lay flat on its back as the 2 maulers slapped her about a bit.

a week later now and i think mimi has a grudge against us, as it has followed us to our village 2km north of taike. We where in the middle of killing a krayt when i noticed that i had been poisoned and my mauler was running after mimi! The dragon had already incaped me twice so i was insta corpse :/
I think she tried to hide in my house as everyone in my group started crying with laughter, as my noobie friend has set up a mine field outside my front door

lol, mimi is 1 of the persons why soe took off revenge tef =)

she did that AH thing like over and over again, and that why they dont heal at AH when mimi is there, well now after mimi is dead then its ok, but when rev tef was on, she just exploited it.

dont worry about mimi, she is just trying to use all kind of irritating things to piss peeps off.

usually she aint at AH when im around, she usually leaves, because i kill her asap if she has tef, as i can heal poison off me, she cant do any harm to me.

and me record just incapping her is 25 mins, i was in middle of my meal when she popped AH, when rev tef was still on, so i ate, made coffee had good smoke and stuff, and just stand at 40m from mimi ( poison range is about 30m) and clicking now and then attack button incase she just got up while eating =)

hehe i read alot more about mimi from the forums now, an i think we got off lightly!

This was my first time in PVP an i had a blast! even if it was 4 (PVE type characters) vs 1 combat medic!

If only traps work on players... i can root / blind and dizzy all but a krayt dragon in seconds yet i cant even throw a rock at another player :/

Yeah, I met Mimi a few times as well, such a mopron.

Another thing is he/she (it) now poisoned me twice sitting in AH cantina from outside the building /sigh.

Need to get some poison resists
