when you have evil parents or bosses that block irc in the firewall, you can use this to connect to irc anyway

but afaik too many people are using this proggie, so irc thinks that ip connects loads of times, so they all get kicked?

Humm well I clicked on the link and it asked me to put in a username so I chose Shy (ofc) and then clicked login and I went to some Russian channel. Then I went and relogged to daoc.bob as in someone's sig I saw on here, but no one was there, aww

I think both of us were suing it at the same time and the quakenet scripts have a block in place when you get two or more nicks from the same host..... which sucks.. I've logged out now as I use a shell account for irc anyway, try again in 5 minutes and I'll remove the link so lots of people can't use it, so bookmark it.

you need to put:

uk.quakenet.org in the server part, instead of irc.xmission.com
