Ooops, those 3 US fighters that were shot down were hit by Kuwait Air Defenses. Expensive fuckup.

Considering the aircraft, it was still probably less than when someone forgot to take the intake cover off one of our F35s causing it to dive into the sea after trying to takeoff.

No idea tbh? I thought at very least we'd have seen some mention of it in the news and/or plans to put more police officers on the streets/around potential targets for terror attacks.

Funny you say that, round here there is no increased presence of either Police or Army, most of the Army moved up North and there are only a few bases around here mostly holding Desert coloured vehicles.

Donald Trump has criticised Keir Starmer for his role in the US attacks on Iran.

Speaking to the Sun, Trump says the prime minister "has not been helpful. I never thought I’d see that. I never thought I’d see that from the UK."

In a telephone interview, Trump adds: "It's very sad to see that the relationship is obviously not what it was."

On Monday, Starmer told the Commons the government "does not believe in regime change from the skies".

The UK initially did not allow the US to use British bases to attack Iran, but then opened its bases for "defensive" strikes on Iranian sites.

Actually, I'm wondering whether that's Trump helping Keir out with optics tbh.

We're all-in - "defensive" stance = "bombing Iran just like everyone else" - but Trump saying that makes the Iraq-war'ers feel all warm and fuzzy that we're pushing back, when we're not really doing that at all.

Takes the heat off Keir a bit domestically whilst we support like we always do.

Jesus can we not do anything with pride? On the news they are showing one of our Type 45 Destroyers (HMS Dragon) being prepared for action. The aerial shots show a clean nice looking warship with a fucking rusting shipping container on the front deck.
