Got a load of colleagues in UAE / Dubai with family in Abu Dhabi. Getting told to shelter indoors with family. Funnily enough, they're all reluctant to share any videos because they freely admit they've no idea what's bullshit and what isn't.

Mixed feelings about this. Iran with nukes would be an absolute disaster. But getting involved (which, lets face it, we will already be) in this, with Israel pulling strings, is pretty fucking horrid.

And irritatingly, they'd be right. And that's the terrifying thing; you let far right cunts into your headspace and into power because...another Syria, another Afghanistan? And unlike say, Syria, where most of the actual burden was taken by Turkey, it was still over a million people who arrived in Europe, and Iranians won't be welcome anywhere in the ME except Iraq, and they have nearly five times the population Syria had at the start of the civil war. Are we ready for five million Iranians heading to Europe? Because it could easily be the kind of numbers we're talking about.

One question I do have is why hasn't starmer raised our terror threat level through the roof yet? the amount of iranian sleeper cells that could have infiltrated the country by small boats over the last 5+ years could be substantial. old fence sitting shite gibbon should at very least be putting more police officers out on the streets as a start.
