Deserves it's own thread I think.

Got a load of colleagues in UAE / Dubai with family in Abu Dhabi. Getting told to shelter indoors with family. Funnily enough, they're all reluctant to share any videos because they freely admit they've no idea what's bullshit and what isn't.

Mixed feelings about this. Iran with nukes would be an absolute disaster. But getting involved (which, lets face it, we will already be) in this, with Israel pulling strings, is pretty fucking horrid.

If the Iranians do manage to change their lot, then well done. But still. It's shit

It'll be interesting, no one in the West likes the Iran leadership, but that doesn't mean this won't turn into a complete clusterfuck.

In an ideal world nothing would be better for peace - both in the Middle East and the wider world - if the Mullahs were to get removed from power.

Preferably in a box.

Only issue is we don't live in an ideal world and what comes next may be worse. Although it does appear the Iranian people have already decided who they want to come next, so fingers crossed.

Make Iran Persia Again I guess...

Ideal scenario would be regime falls fast with minimal civilian casualties - with Israel involved though are we really expecting that given their absolutely bulldozer approach to Palestine?
