After travelling the world I have come to realise that a lot of people are intolerant to various things. I have decided that these people should not be able to breed for the good of the human race!

I believe intolerances will evolve and eventually we will no longer be able to eat bacon if we allow these people with diseases to continue to breed.

Intolerances, in my entirely ignorant opinion, what a bunch of arse. I know one guy who can't eat wheat but he has a genuine medical condition.

It's like people who think that wifi gives them a headache.

I have to admit I always found other people's allergies a bit irksome....right up to the point where I found I was allergic to something myself. Admittedly mine is easily avoided now I know what it is (Goji berries...teach me to eat "healthy" muesli, fucking things brought me out in a massive rash), but people who have allergies to mainstream stuff like milk or wheat have my total sympathy.

i have sympathy for people with food alergies.
but then i treat them like i treat vegetarians: you want something special, provide it yourself.
i wont go out of my way to provide stuff for food freaks, too much hassle :p

The father of a friend has recently been diagnosed with coeliac disease, which is a right sod by the sounds of it. No gluten whatsoever.

What we need is intolerance against intolerance intolerance. Let haters hate and enjoy what you like.

If you let haters hate, then you are tolerating intolerance.

Friend of mine has a nut allergy. Nothing more interesting at the end of a night than a quick drive to A&E after a meal out where the restaurant has promised to make sure there's no nuts anywhere near her food.

(should I reserve some posts for the girl+nuts jokes?)

Having a nut allergy must be a nightmare! My only allergy is Penicillin, which nearly killed me as a baby! I don't mind other people having allergies, I DO mind when they flaunt it like it somehow makes them more important that us.

I can't eat uncooked bananas, they bring me out in a rash on my lips and tongue. Garlic gives me the shits but I love it so eat it anyway.

My wife has a mild nut allergy which is a bit of a pain but as I do most of the cooking from scratch I know not to include nuts in any of my recipes.

But anyway, it's become quite fashionable to have food intolerance. Most of the fuckers have nothing of the sort, they just think they do.

I developed a Kiwi fruit allergy in my late teens. I used to love its tangy juicy flesh, but now it just wants to kill me :(

It's hardly a wheat allergy or hay fever though. It's those sneezing, crying bastards you want to go after first, always moaning every spring.

My lady is trying to convince me I'm allergic to plasters. This is generally met with "hush woman, you're talking bollocks" comments despite the fact that it's pretty obviously the case. I refuse to give in though.

You can be cured of intolerances, or allergys as they are known, by gradual exposure, including nasty ones like nut allergy, wheat, milk, glutten are all made up and belong in the same shed as ME, most of them are pushed by Chiropractors, the biggest thieving scumbag quacks on the planet.
They have such a cheek, our local journal has a full page advert for one who promisies to heal back problems in babies caused by the strains of childbirth WT, WT, WTF!!!! is that shit, chiropraction isn't even about back problems, it's a 200 year old scam based on your back causing all disease.
There's one born every minute though and it keeps these charletans in BMW's.

pffft, that is a piece of piss.
Try being allergic to gluten, and then add an allergy to both rice and potatoes and then you got a right sod to deal with.
Most "gluten free" things are made with rice or potato flour which means it cant be eaten by my wife. Is a nightmare.

And intolerances arent generally genetic so talking this thread is a load of shit. I think you shouldnt be able to have kids because you are an intolerant cunt, but that wouldnt be allowed either :D

The amount of utter bullshit you spout is hilarious. If I didn't know better I'd think you were the worst troll in the world. You can't be cured of many allergies by exposure, that's fucking bullshit. Trust this as coming from someone who's had multiple allergies his whole life.

I suggest you go check the facts before freakin out, they treat nut allergy by exposure
A desensitization study at Duke University was done with escalating doses of peanut protein. Eight children with known peanut allergy were given escalating doses of peanut protein in the form of a ground flour mixed into apple sauce or other food. To enter the study peanut IgE level > 7 kU/L and a positive skin prick test. The first day, they are given 0.1 mg of peanut protein, then the amount of peanut is increased gradually to 50 mg, if tolerated, over that first day. About ½ of the kids tolerated 50 mg dose by the end of the day, while the others were able to reach 12.5 mg or 25 mg. The children continued taking daily doses of peanut at home, returning to the hospital every two weeks for dose increases until they reached 300 mg peanut protein a day, or the equivalent of a single peanut. The maintenance phase follows lasted up to 18 months, depending on how much peanut protein the child tolerated. Seven children completed the study. These children were given a "food challenge" to peanut flour, exposing them to up to nearly 8 grams, or the equivalent of more than 13 peanuts. Five of the seven children tolerated the equivalent of 13 peanuts at the food challenge at the end of the study.[26] The children’s immunologic findings were similar to those seen with other types of immunotherapy—an initial rise followed by a decline in peanut-specific IgE and IgG. They also had a rise in peanut-specific IgG4 throughout the study, which is thought to be a marker of protection in other forms of immunotherapy.[27]

Please advise me then on how I can "cure" my allergies to:

Dog hair
Horse hair
Rat hair
Feathers
Dust mites
Suncream
Every single form of pollen
Penicillin

Do you want me to go on? I'd love to hear your answers as no Dr in the world can help cure me.

Not all allergies are like food allergies, they can't be cured. There are no known cures. But continue to spout your blanket coverage bullshit for everything, why not?

I presume you've had exposure tests to comfirm that rather long list, i was wrong to call intolerance an allergy, intolerance is 'I think it might be..whatever' that gives me sore eyes, belly aches or hot sweats'
Allergies of course are real if your immune system responds over enthusiastically to a substance and carefully controlled exposure can help, though with nut allergy they actually killed some poor kid with his first dose. But wheat, milk and glutten allergies are banded around by every two bit quack to convince
some fee paying patient they have 'found' their problem, problem goes away by itself and quack gets the kudos...simples.
And yes penicillen is nasty, it nearly killed my dad when he was twenty, his head was twice the size
