I urgently need to insure my new car - tried DirectLine but although they gave a great quote when it came to the crunch they said they couldn't count my Dad's NCB (he will be policyholder, me as named) because he still has the policy.

Any other decent suggestions for performance cars?

I'm 23 by the way, with 0 years NCD - so don't suggest insuring it in my name please
