Like it matters? 1 hit of any style crit or normal and a caster is dead. If you get perf or backstab then the caster will most likely drop dead from that, at the very most they will die after 1 more hit of any type or 2 ticks of the poisen.

Assasins are the easiest class to play in the lower BGs, 1 press of 1 key will more than often despatch any caster quarry.

And then get the rest of the tank and caster quarry on you.

Skill + courage + suprise is the key :)

You have those and you're a God damn arse to kill! :)

skill? lol

You walk upto a player who cant see you, press one button and he dies. Then you run away and dissapear. You pic casters on the outskirts of groups or just any caster in a battle and its a walk in the park to run away and restealth long b4 anyone targets you.

Courage applies only when there is some element of risk to the player, which in assasins case there rarely is, so you dont really need any courage.

In the lower bg you die fast and hard to all classes but by far the easiest and least skillful is the assasin.

OK

/em thinks who has never played an assasin before

Rhetorical question me thinks ;)

Skill: Being able to take out 3 hibs with them barely being able to lay a finger on you. And no, they weren't AFK :p

Courage: Walking into 1FG mids, and taking out their healer, even though you know that afterwards you're going to die. Benefits everyone other than yourself (apart from the pitiful amount of RPs you get)

Dieing quickly: Against a zerker if they actually hit you, yer.
Against anything else, at close range (stops nukers :p), no, not really :)

Suprise: Stealth naturally :)

Your intelligence is astounding, you conclude that ive never played an assasin based on what exactly?.

/ponders
/thinks whos makes ignorant assumptions

Few of your assasin counterparts would ever go for a possible healer kill if there was a guarenteed cloth wearer kill available. You may try to do the best for your realm and be tactical but the rest are just out for rps and easy kills.

Fact is the assasin in BG 1 is the easiest class to play, delude yourself into thinking your great if you must, but anyone that considers invisibility coupled with 1 shot kill is difficult is either an idiot or has very low standards.

I base my conclusion on the way that you believe the assasin classes are the easiest to play in BG1. My paladin and my theurg were both a lot simpler in BG1 than my infils have ever been.

Now answer me, have you ever played an assasin on the BGs? Because I really cannot believe you have from the way you "assume" they are so easy to play. I think you're just more pissed off with getting owned by them all the time or summit :)

That would be the uber level 7 cleric, that I deleted because I decided it would be gay to have a buffbot, and moved it to making a mid SB on excal?

Thought so :D

Oh and don't give me any crap about BBs Conch. What was it you said to me yesterday? :D

I have a 49 infiltrator but he was lvled up pre BG.

I like casters though and I have played every caster class from every realm except the spiritmaster in the BG1. I am now royally sick and tired of the free ride assassins get at that stage of the game. It is as easy as I say as ive had it done to me countless times on almost every caster type, in the BG1 and im just tired of it.

Can a Hunter play?
410dmg+106 crit (bow) then 240+114 spear
You gonna have to take my word 4 it tho,no screenie.
I have to b truthful and say after practice i think hunters make easier chars to play as if u miss your shots an ppl come at you you have a whole bows range to run,or try an finish shooting an if still miss or 2 many coming click the hunters speed boost an no1 is gonna catch u,unless they mezz of course.
I h8 infs as much as the next person cause im jealous of their stealth but i can inderstand the other aspects to them such as patience when stalking a target waiting for the right time t attack when most of the rest of us just get to charge in a blast away with big weapons or bloody great big fireballs ect.
I h8 them, but gotta repect them as well (sometimes) ;)

Well said balthus, couldnt agree more. I love my ranger/hunter to bits but they are bloody easy to play. My SB (crit) is quite a bit harder and my SB (zerker) i find to be the hardest out of the stealthers I've played even though i dont need to open with a positional.
