1. Which is the best race for an Infiltrator?

2. Where’s the best place to put my starting stat points for an Infiltrator?

3. What are some good specs to aim for in all 4 Battlegrounds (19, 24, 29, and 35)?

4. What are some good specs to aim for at level 50?

I am going to be using thrust weapons.

Is a standard temp. If u wanna melee everything max DW, if u wanna 1shot things max CS.

tho there is little 1-shotting around anymore (not counting sub-lvl 50's) :) 2-3 shotting things is more realistic :)

Just had a look at your sig. Could i suggest you get a more group friendly char to atleast 45ish 1st before trying an infil.

Your only experiance of assasins will have come from BG's and RvR from an assasins point of view is a totaly different animal.

briton imo, mines saracen but i wish he wasn't. hps and str are everything, even with thrust.

<shrug> hi cs, hi env, stealth@lvl with items, 66% weapon spec, <10dw

35stealth 50thrust 44cs 33env 22dw i'd go for i think (25dw with autotrain) but theres so many possible permutations and nothing is perfect in all situations :)

but i agree alb has enuf infs already i think and the grass isn't always greener...

also if u have an inf u will need a buffbot too, either your own or access to someone elses. same applies to any stealther tbh

3. In general: high Slash, high CS, low DW ( like 1/3 of lvl) autotrain stealth rest in poison ... :)

4. perfect spec for RR7:

(with autotrain)

33 Stealth
44 CS
27 DW
50 Slash
33 Poison


This spec is what Im going for at lvl 50 with my Infi ;)

Why go 33 stealth, isn't that too low?
Yes, if you are RR2 or something, but the way I see it, I'm gonna pwrlvl my infi to BG3, go pharm, gather RP's to get some RA's, like Vanish and See Hidden... very nice to have that in "da real RvR"... :)

Yes, ofc it is! Im gonna go pharm in either Emain or Odins. If you do this once a day for, let's say 2-3 weeks, then U will get like 150K easy ... meaning, after ½ year U are RR7 :)

come on.... 33 Poison!?
So? most resist anyway, due to SC'd MP armor... Im only gonna spec Poison to lower str/con (primary weap) and DoT (secondary weap)...

1. briton pre 1.62 patch (wanna see weaponskill diffrence after...)
2. 10con/str/dex, 15con/10str, or sum.
3. screw them BG's xddd
4. 50thrust, 44CS,34en/stealth rest DW (rr6 spec.)

purge >>> vanish imo ;ddd


purge will help u vs your primary targets(sbs debuffs/dots)

use purge, get in dragonfang next swing ^^

as a slasher, use purge in start of fight, and do some major dmg :D

yea i were, d00d. with my theurg. even tho afer moc and nuked em to nearly dth twice... man i hated that... but damn it was easy when they removed IP from assasins :p MoC4tehwin ;)

(btw nerf moc now - not fun when im the assasins now ;) )

Buy a ranger if...?

Anyway... autotrain stealth to 48, fuck the BGs (seriously, they suck.) and go 50thrust 50DW 35stealth 35env, leftovers in crit. You could drop envenom or stealth a bit if you want to get 10CS for backstabII on casters. (medium stun on it)

1. as said briton.

2. str/con/qui as you overcap dex buffed at lvl50 anyway(if u aint high rr and 1,62 is on.) :) if u dont have a friend cleric id say str/con/dex.

3. at lvl24 u should have 19+5stelth 21cs 20+5evenom 13+5 slash/thrust

4.depends on what u want to do. i like the cs spec so im curently using 44cs 35stelth 35evenom 50thrust 18dw.

remember exping a infil is a pain and high lvl rvr allso is a pain now days as there is a Huge amount of assasins in emain/odins + loads of leaching no skill scouts.

What do you think to the following level 50 specs?

Spec 1

Stealth: 39
Critical Strike: 10
Dual Wield: 40
Thrust: 50
Envenom: 39

Spec 2

Stealth: 39
Critical Strike: 23
Dual Wield: 34
Thrust: 50
Envenom: 39

Spec 3

Stealth: 39
Critical Strike: 40
Dual Wield: 10
Thrust: 50
Envenom: 39

Spec 4

Stealth: 39
Critical Strike: 34
Dual Wield: 23
Thrust: 50
Envenom: 39

Sod it and roll a Cabalist instead!

I have put stealth and envenom at 39 so I can get them up to 50 with items (I have done this because you can only have 11 extra stealth and envenom with items. Correct me if I'm wrong)

Spec 1 = poo

Spec 2 = poo

Spec 3 = poo

Spec 4 = tsk you almost made it, drop stealth/envenom to 36 and raise eaither CS or DW (for low RR templates)
