Infils before the huge LA nerf...

I was thinking back in the good old days when it was the SB (or the LA styles itself)
that where the fotm whine threads, kind of like the DF spam going on nowadays.

I have a SB on my own that i played "alot" until 1.60, when I found the class boring and stopped. After a few month the LA nerf came, and i tried my SB to see how big the nerf really was. Damage was less but I could still solo one infil or two.
Now the DF nerf whine is on 50% of the threads (more then LA whine was back then). The reason I was thinking back on this is because I can never EVER remember anything about the 9 sec evade style before 1.62. As i recall, i was never stunned for 9 sec while fighting infils back then.

This is not a whine thread. It's just a question and I hope I can get some information about it.
Is DF a new style that came in 1.60+, or have it allways existed?
Did Infils spec something else before LA got nerfed?

its not easy too land dragonfang when your 4shotted, its evade based, not anytime like doublefrost was

DF has always existed, its just before the LA nerf the infil would likely be dead before they got to use it

it was bugged till 1.48, and didnt work
but it was quite ago, prolly all today infiltrators (or today owners) didnt even exist in 1.45 patch ^^

haha... Dragonfang has always been an issue.. i remember my first whinethread on BW about that lame style... was looooong time ago, long before 1.62... aaawh, sweet memories

Maybe it wasnt so well known that specing 50 thrust would make you very good even if you have penalty to armor type. And before 2.5 spec points got introduced noone had 50 thrust since you had to sacrifice something else like a shadowblade and ns have to do when taking main weapon to 50.

Evad was not 50 before 1.62

The only reason SB complain about DF is because the fights between infs and SB are now 50/50.
Yes, to the disgust of most SB's there now is a chance they might lose... the horror...
So, lets bitch about DF, lets get a lvl 50 style to become worse than the SB lvl 39 style, 2nd in evade chain.
That would be the general idea.
SB's would also like LA damage to be upped again to pre 1.62 lvl's, end regen to be a buff again, and inf's losing 2.5 spec, while SB's getting 2.5 spec, and not merely 100hp more, but 500hp.
That would probably make the SB's happy.
And get back to their rp whoring, like pre 1.62

Seriously tho as a tank that fights sb/infils a lot i think sb was ok before nerf and i think infils are ok now as long as every1 is buffed or every1 unbuffed

imo back in 1.45 there were hardly any level 50 infils (maybe a handfull) and if you saw one... you were in awe... actually, that went for any level50....

dont be ignorant. That means that whenever sbs/ns/skalds/warriors and all classes have purge up are invinsible. That doesnt happen against inf

infils overall dmg is higher too and ws etc but you allready know
