tbh with slash i would lower it to maybe 44 or even 39 and up CS for CD, and more evenum! you arnt loosing too much dmg since you will still had the 50 slash equivilent and have more utility to do things and kill your targets with!

If you got slash dw spec, 50/50 is a must.

CD is at 34. Why take slash to 50 when you can get away with 51 compo spec?

Lowbie RR infs are better going 44 CS, 50 wep, 35 stealth/env, rest DW tbh.

so atm my spec is 50thrust 44cs 36stealth 34enc 18dw,
going with that spec up some realmranks and I'm going to try the mercslashfil spec on higher rr.

if you're going slash no reason at all to be 50slash imo,

at rr5, 35slash 44cs 35env/stealth 40dw is a solid spec.

Only time i would be 50weapon until they fix wyrd spec would be when you're spec'd thrust, then you spec it purely for dragonfang, lower dps overall but a 5second stun that can win you fights.

You will with high CS spec m8. I am 35 slash, 35 stealth, 32 envenom, 37 DW, 50 CS. This can be tweaked abit by lowering DW to get Envenom to 35 aswell, if you really want that lifebane on RR5, but Im easy with the best str/con debuff

Im not using slash styles, im only using CS styles. So 50 cs + 15 makes me hit rather hard I just need 35 + 15 to get to 50 slash in total, thus making my dmg reach max from the weapon type. As I said, you can lower DW to get Lifebane at RR5, but I'm mainly fighting other stealthers, so the fights usually over before 3rd or 4th tick on poison so the 47 debuff poison is fine by me, hence 32 env (32 + 11 + 4 = 47)

And to your dw question, every point in dw makes your chances of landing offhand go up I think its 0.5%. I got the calc somewhere just cba to find it just now

Your trying to get it both ways m8. Just focus on one thing. You wanna use DW styles? Go 50 DW, your wanna use Slash styles? Go 50 slash (bad idea), you wanna use CS styles? Go 50 cs. I hit for about the same with Garrote as I did with Amyslash when I was 50 slash, only difference is end cost, which is slightly higher on Garrote.

but lvl50 styles take variance from your main weapon spec (like all should but all the rest dont). For me a spec of 50+19 dw, then 50+19slash and 31+19slash gave me an average of 12dmg per swing mainhand higher on dualshadows as 50+19slash.

No difference when using non lvl 50 styles of course .. so if ur going 50dw really should be 50slash too ... (which is an utter waste of a spec).

i woudnt go 50 CS as the dmg differance wont be that higher from 44, put these point in dw and u will see much more benefit

my spec is 44 cs,38 slash,34 env,37 stealth,38 dw will respec at rr5 for lifebane
so at rr5 44cs,36 slash,35 env/stealth ~40 dw
i say this is the best alround spec for a slash infil and will do very well in 1.82

u can ofcourse lower env but u wont just fight sbs and shades. Will be very fun when assasins again can have casters as target

u just need 51 compsite spec to not get any variance while using CS styles. So 50 slash is useless if ur not planning using slash styles (why anyone wanna do that)
so spec 51-rr-11 slash and u will be fine.
