Where did I say that someone should work and not get payed?
What wedding ?
Im sure you can handle my response in a more adult way!
My only point in that post was to point out for you that you can't judge how big a problem is to ppl you dont know. That is a fact!

Are peoples life at stake? (well some people might claim yes..)
Yes around 500 ppl are effected by its downtime but its nothing so important that they have to call all there staff in, they have already offered to compensate us with free time AND underpopulation bonus.
Was prydwen being down a big problem to you? not really, it wasn't for me and i had several raids to run etc but its not like peoples lifes are in danger etc. Like it or not, prydwen players are only 500 off at least 20000 daoc players supported by GOA.
And Besides...its not like Mythic worked weekends so whats the point of GoA support coming in only to tell us Mythic aren't in there office for another 3 days.

Edit- You ask me 'Who i am to judge' i ask you who you are to ask someone to come into work on a holiday without pay.
Boggy said:You seem to be suggesting that the only time people can become passionate about a quality of service issue is if it endangers someone's life. Surely there is some scope for issues to be less threatening but still significant enough to complain to your service provider?
or are we thinking "Dear telephone provider, I was extremely upset when my service went down and you didn't fix it"
"Dear customer, unless your life was endangered, please don't complain".

Answer this for me-
1. Do you have a Job?
2. Is it a 9 to 5 Weekday Job?
3. If a unimportant problem occurs during a weekend, would you travel 15 miles to go into work without pay to sort it out?
Throw them a Bone, i'm sure they are working well towards getting the servers up.
Rickie said:1. Yes
2. Well... 8 to 4 CET ( what diff. dose it make what time ppl is working?? )
3. How important a problem is will depend on who have the problem imo. What might be a small problem to me might be a big problem to other..... so if it is a big problem to someone .... ofc i would!

2. - who are you to judge how big a problem this is to ppl?
3. Where in my post did i hint anything about who the world spins around?
4. Where did I say that someone should work and not get payed? I said i would but dident say anyone else had to because I would!
5. What wedding ?
Bubble said:Rickie Suggests if she was in there shoes, she'd work which is very nice of her.
Tosen said:So yet once more you want to lure a forum troll?
"You ask me 'Who i am to judge' i ask you who you are to ask someone to come into work on a holiday without pay." -All she actually said was that SHE would do it![]()
Bubble said:Yeah thats great and all, i'll play along
2. I have just as much right to say how big the problem is as you have to demand someone to come into work without being paid (NONE!!!)
Bubble said:Thanks for clearing that up 'chum'
Tosen said:So why answer like you did 3 posts up? She never demanded anything, Bubble
edit: Had to learn how to count first![]()
so if it is a big problem to someone .... ofc i would!

1.A Yes ofc its a problem, but low important and how to prioitise is the true question(which moves us to #2)
2.Q - who are you to judge how big a problem this is to ppl?
2.A I have just as much right to say how big the problem is as you have to demand someone to come into work without being paid (NONE!!!)
3.Q Where in my post did i hint anything about who the world spins around?
3.A When you asked said you would come into work on a weekend so solve and unimportant problem and not get paid for it, i guess this was a lie or you didn't understand the question. This go's back to #2 do you expect people to bend over backwards.
4.Q Where did I say that someone should work and not get paid? I said i would but dident say anyone else had to because I would!
4.A You answered you would, its true you didn't say you don't expect others too and your answer suggested your expectations.
5.Q What wedding ?
5.A An example you didn't understand but i'll summeries it in plain english for you- If he had a social life or events, should he be expected to cancel them for a unimportant problem?

.... ofc i would!
Rickie said:My reality is as right to me as your is to you.
And having that in mind noone here can judge how this affect ppl we dont know.
I rest my case!
