The filefront links go awah after a whiled, which is a shame rly. What we need is someone with a decent upload, a lot of diskspace, running his comp 24/7 and people willing to send (there) vids to it.

Or someone who wants to spend a lot of cash running a server, as the bandwith will be insane.

I for one would really love to see a database full of old (and new) daoc movies. None of that youtube/flash shite/watch online shit btw. That shit is doing my head in.

Other will just respond with; "why in the world would you wanne see movie clips of the ancient game."

Well i have my comp running 24/7, got high bandwidth, but probably not enough space.

But this is just like many other people..

Big question is how many people got that much free space, and is willing to do such things.

I couldn't find it having a quick look on my computer.

I also think it would be great if there was a DAOC video vault somewhere for all the greatest vids, new and old, but whenever someone has made one, the bandwidth limits seem to be the problem, and it is not surprising with some of the vids getting up to 500mb->950mb, so if you have a popular film, that is going to munch up your limit in no time :/

As long as there is filefront and as long as my PC doesn't die and a few of the other guys on here that have large collections don't disappear, I think most requests should be ok.

I have it, the file was uploaded originally as bdc-c.avi but I am afraid I don't have the connection to upload anything at the moment as I am sitting on a mobile adsl connection thingy, which is rather shite.
