Been away for well over a year and just came back to cam now to check out some of the new content. Browsing through the forums I see some new acronyms so....

Whats a CO5 raid?
Whos is Azzezal?
What is a BoV?

Brings me back to when people used to say "meet at PB for a group" and I used to say "wheres a PB" lol.........

ok mostly refering to the darkness rising expansion;

CO5 is Circle of Five, this is a step in Champion Level quests where you have to kill 5 main bosses in a new dungeon in S Black Mountains, the dungeon is called Brimstone and is much like DF in style.

Azazel is the main boss in this dungeon, to complete your Champion Level quests you must destroy him.

not sure about BoV sorry :p

here are some links about Darkness Rising.

Thanks for your replies Outlander. With regards for the champion level quests do they need to be done in order or can you get credit for Killing CO5 at anytime?

Regarding the CO5 step in the Champion level quests, you can participate in the killing of these mobs at any time but you will only gain credit for killing them if you are on that step of the quests.

Seeing you post in Alb section I will refer you again to the Alb guide for the quests; Champ Lvl Spoiler(alb). This outlines all the Champion Level quest steps.

There are 5 Champion levels to obtain altogether, in order to start your journey on the Champion Level path you have to speak to your class trainer in Camelot, then you will be able to go and speak to the King. Once you have spoken to the King you should be able to start gaining Champion Level experience.

You can gain CLexp through regular exping/questing and also from RvR. The Champion level quests, specifically the CO5 step yield 2.5+ levels of exp so are by far the easiest way to gain your Champion Levels fast.

Each time you ding a new Champion Level you can go to a starter trainer(check cotswold) and select a new ability for your character, there are numerous choices you can make here with ability options from each class line.(Acolyte/mage/fighter etc) The only class line you cannot chose abilities from is from the class you already belong too, example if you are a Wizard you cannot train in abilities that are provided by the Mage trainer.

If you do your Champion Quests then you can gain your new Champion Weapon after you complete the 'Finding the Keeper' Step. If you prefer not to do these quests then you can obtain your weapon through CLexp alone, when you ding CL3 you will be allowed access to your weapon. Once you complete the whole Champion Level quest arc then you get the final ability unlocked from your weapon, alternatively if you ding CL5 through exp alone you can get this ability unlocked also. (iirc)
