duo archers on me when i cast on someone else, i probably will die.

that s when they don t miss a shot and i don t turn around to qc ns the first one, staff charge dd the second one and the evul hib group keels them.

I feel sorry for the new archers that are leveling.

Ran into a ranger the other week, happyg or something.


I knew he was there.. he waved to my SB when I was xping.

Anyway, I just wander out, wait for him to pop an arrow in me.

I gave up on my scout on excal ages ago.

Fumbling 5 times in a row on a mob thats rooted in front of me just did it.

Still, atleast it means scouts can't kill me anymore... which means that there's atleast 1 class any thane with 7 shield can solo

Thank the lord for respecs for I can now kill stuff in a way my class was never intended to.

Rangers are a fairly good class imo, my ranger hasnt been able to get a group yet but one shots blues ^^

That was the most fun duel I have ever had I think. Despite me loosing in the end. Have to do it again sometime. :)

Nerf pally end regen chant + engage. Boring if your pet is dead. If it had been 1.56 you be dead though. ;) insta pet + crush damage.
I had you down to near death a couple of times but end regen + engage saved ya. Only needed one more hit. When your power finally drained that friar came and I tried to leg it again.

Was really fun though. Fighting a palla for like 6-7 minutes before dying. Hunters usually don't last long in melees. You used IP to and I used FA2. :)

Next time I ll make sure to bring a pet that isnt greycon and dont die before my first arrow is away. ;)

Those sort of extreme encounters only happens vs hibs.

Dunno much about hibs but I assume different hib pbt classes stacks with each other?

Same in HotC

6 shots, 5 BT'd. Getting to the stage where I cant be bothered to shoot hibs, just unstealth sit down. Put on the spare medallion I bought, and go make a coffee..

Is it possible for multiple wardens in a group to time the casting of Pbt, to in effect give 3 second pbt...

Looks like it to me

There are proven issues with archer vs PBT, don't worry us rangers get it just as bad. People have proven with logs that sync'd bubble is bugged to hell, they've had 3 archers with 2s bows fire 10 arrows each onto 2 albs with pbt each, the result was, 0 bubble penetrations. There's countless logs floating around showing the same type of thing over and over that clearly when it comes to arrows, sync'd bubble is nigh on sheer immunity even when fast bows should theoretically be penetrating.

Now we just gotta wait 7yrs for Mythic to fix it.

<waits for the wardens to flame him with the usual "we're already gimped, stop trying to get it fixed we're on your side it'll hurt you if our bubble doesn't work" story>

Scout is a joke from Mythic. They said at about 1.48 that there was the last nerf for them (brickwall powered nerfbat), and after they nerf scout/archers more and more, but they "forget" to mention it in the patch notes. I wait for 1.60 patch notes, and if nothing happens to scouts, I delete it to hell.

Oakleif said possibly no scout love until 1.62, because 1.60 and 1.61 are for mage love, seeing as mages are SO underpowered right now...

Only time archers seem to make any impact on me is when im already screwed and so cant really react to them. But generally, my 50+11 shield spec and legion shield make arrows fairly useless against me. Im surprised if an arrow hits me, hell im surprised if an arrow hits the clothy im guarding - yes assuming my caster friend doesnt do anything stupid that makes me have to stop facing the arrows, then generally not a single arrow will hit him.
Makes me feel sorry for archers...but that feeling soon fades, and then i just laugh :)

resist items are already fucking up archers more than anyone

i got 1200 hps thast what 2 and a bit nukes??

im hitting cloth weares for 200 - 75 in some cases so thats 1 arrow for BT then 5 more to kill them, each one is 3 seconds. nealry anyone can out run me or stun-kill me.

Vs tanks AHAHAH, hunters?! lol

i sometimes fire a few arrows just for a laugh but plz its rediculous

would take about 15 arrows from me to kill a tank assuming all hit

they need to address arows again and remove the damage modifyers, this would make me happy.

some SB watched me have a mock duel with a mate of mine (thane) he was laughing at me - what does this tell you?

Well archery is a joke atm.

I just use the gimpy arrows to pull with in RvR and then combined with your toothpecker you can smack someone down. ;)

Ah ok i think ill reach for the bow change quick bars and double tap the shot.

The deadly level 11ish animal casuses me to fumble my shot, and i get an earful for not saving some poor nubis arse.

I tried to explain that i am a gimp, but he dosnt listen and storms off in a huff.

dont get a mob u cant handle near me cos i cant help u :) that fast
dont beg money from me in pigeon english, if english is not your first language ask somone that speeks it well to fabricate you a polite begging speech that u can assign to a macro.

chances of landing slam on a lvl 50 buffblade is near impossible
