Just remember not to try and get into any pub all at the same time.........stagger it a bit or you wo'nt get in and some neanderthal bouncer will put out an early warning.

Gawd, still like that is it, then again, the pubs I used to frequent back in my regular drinking in York days weren't the sort that had bouncers thank god.

Think we're planning heading over during the daytime and doing Jorvik (for the Scandies and American visitors we're going to have) and then maybe stay a little time into the evening before heading back across home to our local (2 mins walk away and the old 'lock in' system
