Move into flat with male flatmates.
Flatmates know I am up the duff.
One flatmate starts smoking, and stinks out the flat.
Bun-in-oven-woman is scared of saying anything to said flatmate, as he has short fuse.

We tried that... This place is meant to be no-smoking anyhow... both of the other guys ignore it, one reeking the place out with weed, the other regular ciggies, even after being told we didn't want to live with smokers - guess they'll be looking for someone else to pay our share of the rent closer to the birth...

One does, but the smoke fills the flat anyhow, literally... the other isn't the smoker, it's his friends. I got VERY angry recently and spoke to one of the about it and he just stormed off screaming "whose fucking flat is this anyway?" and sparked up another.

Thankfully a friend has recently acquired a taser, so that adds an option 3

I'm a smoker (well, I've cut down a lot) and at uni we had a gal who aqquired a bun in her oven over the course of the first term in our house.

House of 5 (4 guys 1 girl).

All of us guys were smokers!

We all stopped smoking in the house once she told us. It's just plain wrong smoking in the same vicinity of a pregnant lady. And that includes weed, baccy, etc.

Damn, I can still remember having a wonderful Lucky Strike outside when some pesky kids ambushed me with snowballs

Meant to be a celebration today because I am 12 weeks gone now and the rate of miscarriage drops to 1-3%. Not going to celebrate because I'm not any less worried than I was before!
