yep fix the theurg mez range to 1500 also.

i just can't see mythic taking GP from druids, however if it was removed, i can see hibs still beating albs every time and then albs moving on to whining about insta mez, baseline stun, etcetcetc

PBAOE - Drop the damage on the PBAOE classes a little, maybe 20%.
PBT - Stop the ability to be able to do synched PBT.

I agree with that too... PBaoe is far too powerfull....

It's not GP, insta-mez, baseline stun..

It's the support classes that make all the difference :)

My main quickbar has them on it.

1QB for buffs.
1QB for main RvR tools (insta mez/ stuns, root, debuff, wake senseless and castable ae mez, stun, Cure Mindless or what ever it is called)
1QB mixed (2 heals/ mez/stuns, insta heals)
1QB for other stuff (main rez, anything left over)

My healer hasn't seen much RvR yet, but the above seems to work ok for me. It only takes a fraction of a second to do a "shift+QB number" to change to another QB, but it means my CC is all easily accissible in good time.

Like I say though, my healer hasn't seen much RvR yet, so I'm probably going to totally change them over once RvR is all that is left for her.

You perform your X perfectly (+350)
You hit Novamir for 500


so 500 - 350 = 150 base.


therfore increasin base damage increases it across the board but afaik caps have not been raised so probs a higher average hit.. good thing imo

/edit Bin See hidden and NS... Archer classes have been slapped silly with the nerf bat, See hidden is a piss take on top of that (note, i dont play such a class so is not a whine from me)

if albs had a little bigger range on mez we should have a decent chance to get other groups mezzed.

I say uptune HEALERS.
The healers only good RvR attribute is PACIFICATION.

Healing has limited use, possibly instas since the dont attract attention

Add more instas to healer line, add AE debuffs, to pacification line.

Add more to aug line, make healers speccing in aug more tempting.

Removing insta stunn/mezz from healers, will gimp this gimped class even further.


The bards are tanks with healer capabilities.
Ofc has to spend points in styles etc.
So it would be more suitable to say bards are skalds with medium healer capabilities.

Remove grp purge, this gives HIB to much an advantage imo.
PBAOE ganksquads 2fg with 2 bards each can slay armies.
Since usually also pbaoe:ers have purge.

Today the tactics are, run into the large mid/alb zerg pbaoe get mezzed grp purge, pbaoe "immune to remezz" happy pbaoeing.

Overall, things to do imo to improve RvR, lower the base magical dmg output or increase the base resist table.
It is ridiculous, the ways pbaoe/gtaoe is used today.

Talking from experience, how especially hib tactics has been lately.

Take a volatile keep like bledmeer.

Let forces make it to inner door, position 2-3 pbaoers near doors after 10-20secs of knocking.
Sync pbaoe, kablam 20-30 deaths in an instant.

scenario 2.
"The Lord Room Box Of Death"
Allow enemys to knock down both doors, stand on outer walls around lord room, boxing it in, position tanks as spotters.
let a suiting amount of enemys come to lord.
PBAOE/GTOAE center of room.
Kablam you have yourself a fortress of doom there.


Make melee more part of the game.

Got hit by Nuclear for 990 damage the other day, christ i cant even hit a green con caster for that much :)

remove all class specs, just have one realm, all lurikeens and all have to be lvl 4 guardians... or get shot of Insta anything and lower the resist cap (35+) um, make trolls go on a diet, get rid of female trolls and firbys( :eek: ) make something in SC that doesnt allow you to cap all stats, (UO anyone ?) and do something about insta heal/end/power pots that are coming with alcy (UO anyone else ?)

why not remove all magic using classes while we at it ?
then merge all the tanks thats left, and make one uber tank.
then give this tank to all 3 realms.
And let the 1 char that is left only spec blades and shield, that way noone can complain that hes better then me.
And give em 3x the spec pnts so they all can spec 50 in all specs.
Have fun in the battle fields.......

everyone wanting to nerf pbaoe, tell me.. what would you suggest giving to casters instead?

in 1.54, without pbaoe, casters have pretty much nothing. High resists, cheap purge, determination make CC almost useless and make it impossible for a caster to keep any1 at range, and also impossible to kill anyone before they come close. At least with pbaoe, tanks know there's some risk if they get close.

If you nerf pbaoe damage then give us a insta pbaoe stun (I can dream).

PBaoe is fine as it is, it's difficult to get it to work, and wearing cloth + standing in the middle of a bunch of enemies = dead in less than a second.

Casters have NO melee to speak of, and yet you would reduce the game to one of pure melee.. so basically you want to get rid of half the population of the server? (or however many play casters)

Look for the "red eye" icon, those are lazer's - you can use them whilst wielding an instrument.

Just had a look through the char builder at Catacombs to look for ways of trying to balance Albion, and it ain't easy.

Perhaps the best way Mythic could start this process is by scrapping the Theurgist Earth line completely, or by starting anew and making Earth Theugists genuine siege engineers.

Move 6 sec PBT to the Paladin's chant line. This would provide Albion with a huge boost in that PBT would be in every group and on a hard to take down class (as in Hib)

Give Sorcs insta ranged aoe mezz.

Let Mincers charm a pet and perform other functions at same time.

Let Necro pets abuse LOS until Enchanters are fixed.

This would go a long way to balancing the current huge disparity.

cept necro pets get to hide inside walls invulnerably and still cast spells....

Just seen an idea that is really quite good. It would give Albion and sorcs something unique to Albion and compensate in some way for lack of CC.

GTAOE mezz :)

3 sec cast, 2000 range 350 radius

Would give Alb a way to ambush outside insta range, and to counter the Lord Room farming teams.

Chain armour

Can train BATTLESTAFF and duel wield a staff in each hand

Get rid of the pet charming and replace it with a duration-based Sever The Tether (Pet is severed for longer as spell level increases. Pet is retethered after spell ends.)

Put all damage spells onto the spirit table or something

2x spec points

A point blank spell that physically teleports all enemies in the radius to some random point within a radius of whatever

Instant root and mezz

Summon greater telamons the way theurgists summon their pets

AoE nearsight

AoE instant resist debuffs

PoT spells

RA DoT that doesn't break CC at all and is guaranteed to do 100 dmg a tick for 8 ticks

A spell that changes positive buffs on a char into negative buffs

Ignore Pain

Someone to change my pants for me because I've just creamed them.

Only all of the above will save Albion.

Well, ok

We take the other option then.

Wardens get stripped of scale and put into cloth. This would also be a start towards balance.

Thanes have nice stuff and can use thingamabobs to hit hit your wotchamacallits...

Give wizard and sorc baseline stun like hib casters

Hib:
Rearrange GP some how (not saying remove it)
20% damage decrease in pbaoe
Take PBT of Wardens if the other 2 realms keep it on cloth wearers mb give it to ments or sumthing but then that class can't have baseline stun. (if its a caster)

Mid
Fix warrior damage
Remove instant AOE stun from Healers and give better stuff in other lines
Give baseline stun (like hib) to casters
Longer morph time on zerkers

that would make it quite alot fairer but its never ever gona happen

Eheh no thanks i use zerk to do some uber damage quick then pray i morph back before every tank on the battlefield hits on me ;)
