If you hadn't guessed that this was a fun little thread to amuse people then I think you might need the above treatment. As for me not getting a beta place, I seriously doubt making funny posts is part of GOA's criteria for who do or do not they allow to beta test for them.

Just watching the news, and they have a bunch of protestors on top of Parliment, whinning about a thrird runway at an airport somewhere. Now, thats getting rave publicity....

So, if you skip the footy match, and climb on westminister, naked, with a WAR banner, that should get you better results. If you can get a replica of each army banner too, and hang 'em off the side, you'd get bonus points.

I think if you do anything like this, you need to distinguish between Warhammer, and Warhammer Online, or else if you just use warhammer, it'll get dismissed as the table top game for boys.

Good luck, although be aware you'll get arrested, night in cells, criminal record, and probably banned from football grounds across the country.

That's right, you carry on trolling. You walked into a fun harmless thread and derailed the whole thing. If you weren't a mighty 'super moderator' and a friend of Deebs I am sure another mod would say something but as it stands you are allowed to say what you like and get away with it. As for your contribution remarks, well they are beneath me and I will not bother answering them as I can see them for exactly what they are, flame bait.

I thought mods were here to enforce the rules, not break them but I guess being a mate of Deebs and a 'super moderator' entitles you to do what you want including troll threads for a reaction.

As for you not thinking it is funny or your friends I didn't expect otherwise and you weren't the target audience. You weren't part of the DAoC community so you don't know me from adam, pretty much everyone else reading this thread knows me and has done for 5-6 years and they are well aware of my character. I mess about and take the piss, try to make people laugh and contribute to the sense of community where I can. In this thread I have broke no rules and upset no one, can you say the same?

This thread had no 'risk element to it' you just waded in with your size 9's playing Billy Big Boots moderator. The post was quite clearly a joke, lots of people got it and lots laugh, review the entire thread and you will see that quite clearly. Even the people that didn't get that it was a joke saw the fun, review the entire thread and tell me otherwise.

Next, I was not going to mention this but to hell with it. I was left disabled after an industrial accident, my settlement cleared the mortgage and I now exist on a pitance thanks to state benefits. I have much more pressing items and bills to pay for, I use any spare money I have to try and attain some quality of life and whilst I have always had great affection for FH and it's staff I cannot divert money from more important things into a subscription. Now let me point you to something Deebs or a member of staff wrote about donatons in the Wiki section...

You could, ofc, donate some of your hard-earned dosh to Deebs if you're a member of Freddyshouse or considering (God forbid) becoming one. Deebs will be pleased to accept your cash, and as a reward you will get to feel all warm and fuzzy, and those who you consider sekseh will notice you and want to be your friend.

Ofc, if your money jingles rather than folds, you can sponge off the site a bit, but be warned, some of the more lovely things FreddysHouse has to offer, prizes, competitions and that like will pass you by.

At no point in there does it say that non-subsribers are second class members who are unworthy of any respect from other members and yet you have done exactly that in this thread.

Moving on, the Warhammer forum. 95% of the replies in this thread are from old DAoC players and friends of mine going back 5-6 years. They all saw the humour of my post, for them it was very much 'business as usual' when it comes to me and none of them were offended or upset in any way. I am well liked by many of these people and I hope I gave a few of them a giggle, that was my only intention aside of taking the piss out of the whole 'desperate to get in beta' senario that many of us are going through at the moment. It was a giggle, nothing more and you seem to be one of one a couple of people who read this forum daily that didn't like it.

I am sorry if you didn't pick up on that but if you go back and read the entire thread you will see what I am talking about.

Finally, please do not use 'watching Deebs's back' as an excuse. This thread has been going for days and read by other moderators, none of them had a problem with it because they could see that is was not a serious thread. There was never any threat to this site, that is all purely in your mind and I can only assume that is because either you didn't read the entire thread or that you have an axe to grind for some reason.

Regardless, very poor form for a moderator and you could have sorted it all quite easily by dropping me a private message instead of trolling and then telling Bubble to fuck off because he was unhappy you were a moderator doing exact what moderators are here to stop.

That is the problem, it seem don't you care regardless, you just intend to do your own thing and anyone who disagrees is a cnut. Well I am sorry but I do disagree with your conduct in this thread and I have used the reputation system accordingly, your whole tone in this thread has been bang out of order and again as I said earlier this could have all been so easily avoided with a private message.

Your opinions on how I should / should not conduct myself are simply that, your opinions. You wouldn't run your affairs on my opinions and I won't run mine on yours, that's the way life goes. Same applies for the other mods, perception is a wonderful thing but we don't all share it in common. You can say "no need" as often as you like and we'll continue to disagree.

I'll point out again that I'm not questioning you, your intentions for this thread or anything else for that matter. I saw this as a risk (whether you agree or not) and dealt with it as I saw fit. You don't have to like it or rubber stamp it, just as I don't / didn't find any of it funny.

You can say "watching Deebs back" is an excuse all you like. Those that know better are already aware that over a long period of time and in numerous conversations (written or otherwise) with Deebs I've pointed out to him that the situation of him bearing everything should be taken off his shoulders or at the very least every attempt should be made to lighten it. It's because I care, contrary to what you state, that I do what I do and why I act as I act. Oh and FYI my financial circumstances are no rosy garden and I work 7 days a week, in fact as we're having this exchange, I'm working on the compilation of a complicated report.

I'll close by saying that I'm genuinely sorry to hear that at some point in time you've been involved in a serious accident. I have no doubt that experience was very distressing and it is unfortunate that the accident was so severe that it has left you disabled. I wouldn't wish such a thing on anyone.

Yeah, I agree with Dreamor. If Meg and Cho want to swing handbags at each other then PMs seem a better way of dealing with it.

Just want to step in and clear up a few misconceptions some of the forum users MAY have.

Firstly, friend or not, moderator or not, if I (yes ME) feel that a moderator has overstepped the mark then I will take action. Any action I may decide to take will be taken in private. For the record, Meg did do something in the past that annoyed me and at the time he was a mod, I just banned him for a period. I have no qualms about doing that to ANYONE on these forums, if they are a mod, a super mod, a paying member. If they cross the line they get punished.

This thread has been brought to my attention by another member and I will discuss it with those who I feel are relevant. Please understand, just because I do not post here everyday doesn't mean I do not know what is going on.

I hope this response shows that I am interested in what happens here and noone is exempt from punishment. It flows all the way to the top and if I feel I have been out of order I take a break. Now I know that you cannot reply to this thread as it has been locked but feel free to PM me if you wish to discuss.
