how much does an account cost ? ~12€ per month ...not exactly a fortune.
And since I seriously doubt that GOA will permanently ban all accounts tied to the IP of the cheater, no big loss if you get cought either.

I am from the onslaught guild, and yes we did pwn 1fg of albs and a few solo's about 50mins b4 our RR BG went public, and yes we did get pwned by 2-3fg of albs 20mins later, but out scouts said there was NO GRPS, OR ANY ONE out side excal untill like 2mins after our RR BG went public

only reason onslaught was out there at that time was because we do guild rvr on sundays and wensday (we pwn :worthy: ) and we go to a diffrent place every time, we DID NOT KNOW untill we where out excal that a rr was going to happen, i find it funny that our scouts didnt see any one at excal untill about 2-5mins AFTER the mid RR BG went public

imo,all this people going on saying there where "mid grps out in the frountiers all day" there must have been something going on... it's a load of rubbish

onslaught where the only grp out in the area at the time , the rest where in emain i belive.

and when you get a report from two scouts (forget names) within 30seconds of each other saying there are forces at both alb and hib (5mins after mid RR BG goes public, and hadnt moved yet), and theres about 2fg and more coming every second, it start to make you think, and wat was a lvl21 sb doing in the frountier running along with the rr?

imo onslaught helping in a way to give the rr bg time to be set up, and took out a fare few grps/people at excal, and sent the albs off in a diffrent dircection.

but dont you people find it funny that within 5mins of the mid RR BG going public, forces start to arive at both hib and alb and the rr hadnt even moved yet...

also wish to say well done to the fg that took us out, was a great fight, havent had that much fun in rvr for a long time, must do it again

From reading logs I can confirm the following:
Somebody did say something they had no legitimate ingame way of knowing. This person will not be playing for a while and will hopefully realise that what he did was unacceptable.
The news he gave was not really a surprise to the experienced players in Albion.
My personal opinion, after review of the various logs is that even had this person not blown the whistle, there would likely have been no difference to the outcome as Albion was on a high state of alert and news of the Mids in Marfachs was being transmitted through legitimate channels long before the Relic Raid came to the Albion Frontier.

Cross-realming is bad but it's not the only way you can lose.

I understand, but by doing so you seemed to be totally discrediting Grivne's theory. Maybe he is the boy that cried wolf so many times, but at the end of that infamous fable the wolf did come.

As an aside I can totally sympathise with Cylian, as an ex-DAoC player from way back there were often 2 or 3 full groups of albions reported as heading into Excalibur while our relic raid force was on the telepad. Every...damn...time. My intention is not to mudsling at albs, it was a frustrating part of the game that perhaps mids and hibs engaged in too, but I never noticed it from those two sides.

And I know of one other case of a crossrealmer being suspended, unfortunately he was from my guild, and disappeared for a few seconds every time after important information was relayed in the old old main alliance (remember that?), presumably to tell his albion friends. When we reported him, following a GOA investigation he was suspended and confessed to the matter, as an apology and as a goodbye to our guild.

Nope, its not the first cross realmer that was caught, though I know the last one I knew about received a perm. ban, and the information he tried to give was ignored by the guild he was in at the time until the enemy realm were knocking on the keep doors.

The albs for having 3fg+ albs camping excalibur before the Mid relic force had left Svasud Faste.

I have no doubt this was a job done by a cross realmer. And I beg of anyone who knows about this and still dont like cheating ect to provide me any info about anything that was said about a relic raid from midgard between 19.00 - 20.20 cet.

Albion has a class called _INFILTRATOR_ which gives it away, that the class has the pontentional of infiltrating something, ergo they provided us with the infomation about the Midgard Relic raid, so instead of whining at us, go shoot mythic employer who made the infiltrator.
