f you're curious on the viewpoint, then do like a normal person; ask a relevant question to clarify it.

Things like "I'ma make you look stupid", "staggering idiocy" etc don't really make it seem like you're asking for that clarification in honest interest and are infact just trying to rile me up, to start a fight, an argument if you will.

Funny how that worked out isn't it.

Like i said; it doesn't matter what i think of the subject, why should it? Explain that.

No answer, yes, no,m indifferent, would change the point i made "it's the same as". The opinion on it's ok levels are irrelevant.

I've asked a number of direct questions.

I'll try another one. Suppose someone digs up your Grandmother, and steals her wedding ring. How does that make you feel?

Also, I googled 'best goose for fucking' and got 631,000 results. Is there a forum or something I should be looking at for advice? I don't think I've got the time to wade through all that.

Yes you've asked plenty of questions, but none towards "rummaging dead bodies is the same", all were towards "how do you feel about it".

Get your problem yet?

Those two are different things, irrelevant to eachother.

So if you have a question about the point i ACTUALLY made, do ask. Otherwise i think you've made yourself look foolish enough.

I don't have a question towards your opinion that all dead bodies should be treated equally regardless of circumstance, because I think that is clear enough. I am interested in how you have come to that feeling, and whether you can justify it, which you clearly are either unwilling, or unable to do.

I'll have another stab though, on your terms.

Why do you feel that all bodies, regardless of circumstance, should be treated equally with regard to 'rummaging'?

Could I split the difference with an Aylesbury duck? They're about as big as a small goose, but don't share the frankly alarming tendencies of a goose to take exception to an amorous advance.

Is that a serious question? If we want equality in life, why would we not want it want we die. I couldn't careless who gets dug up, a king or my great great grandfather it's still wrong in my opionion. People want privacy when they are living, pretty sure they don't want people "rummaging" through my clothes when they die to.

Then how about next time, don't start a 4 page argument over it.

It's an opinion, how i think. You know, your whole speech about different opinions and all.

And since you're so keen on every single opinion needing justification(you must be a hoot at discussions about taste in food);

As said; consistent.

If you treat this body like that, then you should treat that body like that. I'm not ofcourse expecting you to understand it, since you're clearly on the pick&choose team. Only problem is, you can't pick and choose without hypocrisy, which is abundant around these parts.

It's a serious question at Toht, yes.

You see, once more you show the childish side that's just not fun for anyone.

Oh and FYI; i've done this a long time, so if you're expecting me to reveal the answer to your irrelevant qustion about how i feel about body treatment, you'll be waiting a while.

That must have been the downfall of Woolworths then. Pick n mix was a business model doomed to fail once it became established that you couldn't like a mixture of sweets, you had to only like one, and stick with it for life.

I used the term 'disaster porn' - what I meant by it is that theres a ghoulish fascination in a large chunk of the population for things/places/stories where either large numbers of people died or people were murdered by some nutjob.

So you're seriously suggesting the majority of the people going to this will not be maritime/titanic enthusiasts, history enthusiasts or people with a passing or personal interest, but instead by people there to stare at the destruction? That's quite silly.

In the matter of body treatment, no, you can't pick & choose.

Well, you can, but not without a healthy dose of hypocrisy and a dab of megnut.

Here's where we differ then. I like Archeology. I quite enjoy an overexcited Tony Robinson unearthing some Roman baths on a Sunday night. I think we've learnt a ton from studying what we've dug up from antiquity. I don't like the idea of someone digging up my dad who's been dead for 4 years to get hold of his gold fillings.

In that sense, under your definition, I'm a hypocrite.

I suppose it isn't relevant which side you come down on.

But frankly, when the choice is between either being happy to dig up a fresh corpse to steal it's valuables, or being blind to what earlier civilisations can teach us, or being labelled a hypocrite because I'm fine with one and not the other, then pin it on me.

I'd still like to know which side you come down on though. It would satisfy my curiosity to know if you're cool with grave robbery, or rabidly anti archeology is all.

Anyway, I'm going to bed now, not with any form of poultry though, sorry to dissapoint.

I know you would, that's partly the reason i'm not telling it. I don't really prefer getting called the special kid, or idiot, or any of the other plethora of insults.

Archeology as a whole isn't really in the same park though, so you're making assumptions on what i'm saying.

For fuck's sake. There are no bodies in the wreck of the Titanic. They are long gone, so there's no "rummaging around". Difficult concept for some of the slow of thinking around here, but a maritime grave is rather different from an earthbound one.

As it happens I don't give a rat's ass anyway about what happens after I'm gone, you can dig me up and play xylophone for all I care; but I recognise that others feel differently, and take the view that as long as someone remembers you from when you are alive, a grave should be sacrosanct; but once your last living friend or relative is gone, who really is left to give a toss? Pissing and moaning about relatives who you never knew, almost certainly never would have known, and are long gone from their supposed grave site anyway, is just self-indulgent bullshit.

Here's a little thought for you; there are more people alive on the planet right now, than have existed in all of human history. When we all pop our clogs, no-one's going to have the fucking room to respect our graves.

If you're buried in the UK your body will be exhumed and burned within 100 years. There is no room to keep creating cemetaries. You may not like the idea but its a fact...

Can you please try to do some hefty damage to the fourth rib up on the left? It's slightly sharp.

Couldn't give a shit myself, not as if I will have much use for it when I am dead.

Unless ofc there is a zombie outbreak.

Nah, I think I'll ask you, I have some time to waste on circular-argument bullshit and goalpost moving. Go for it.

Go on be honest, you're just holding out in the hope that he will answer one question eventually :p

Ah that old excuse, fun if you could prove it for once :p

About circular argument, what can you expect when the other side sks the same f*cking question over and over, evidently expecting me to change my answer.

I answered everything asked on page 1 and as i've said too many times, for even the thickest of morons to get(which obviously you excel in), i have not stated i have a "problem" with it. Mabs does, some others might, i have never stated that i do. So your question towards me is irrelevant, as was Gumbos 3 page rally around the block.

Go on be honest, you're just holding out in the hope that he will answer one question eventually :p

Why should i if others ignore questions as well?

Once again, i've come to a thread to talk about the topic and keep it as such, you on the other hand just came in to troll a bit.

The only reason this is wrong is because these archeologist people inspired James Cameron and Celine Dion to create unthinkable abominations. I hold the White Star Lines company resonsible for these crimes against music and cinema too - I have sent suitably strongly worded letters to their offices in London, but apparently they went bust in 2006, largely I suspect thanks to the above .

As for grave robbing, I suspect the coroner will have a good rifle through your pockets when you hit his/her slab given half the chance.
