I went in to have a look at the X1 today and the thing that impressed me is how compact it is, it's the same thickness as the old k850i and just a little wider, but still has the resolution. It's just a damn shame it came out so late and i upgraded to a c902 earlier in the year because i got impatient :(

If there is nothing new out by March next year that interests me I'll be getting one!

I keep perving on it on Youtube. Then I see the Windows logo and get scared off. Is it *really* nice and quick? because bloated slowness really puts me off after having got so used to the iPhone.

When i was on O2 and i was out of coverage or had phone switched off it would take up to 24 hours for some texts to come through to me.

Was a nightmare first night i went out with it and the missus thought i was ignoring her!!!

Right well I kept with the jesus phone, however I've now swapped to vodafone simonly, as coverage is far better where I am, and hopefully I won't have the text issues.

Problem being that the new firmware won't allow me to unlock my phone to use with voda. Even downgrading doesn't seem to help. A few people have this 'no service' and despite unlocking countless times still can't get it to work.

I was going to stick with this £20 one I got from vodafone shop, but quite frankly its a nightmare to use. I really, really, want the Palm Pre, but I need something in the meantime. Can get unlocked Nokia 5800 from Virgin for £180, but looking at youtube the texting doesn't look very clever at all.

I text ridiculous amounts, and the iPhone worked perfect for fast texting. What phone to get? I'm still scared of the experia being windows.. :p

Texting on the X1 is a piece of piss. Hit the button on your panel for your Inbox, touch the text you want to reply to, type it out using an excellent QWERTY keyboard with good feeback, click send.

I honsetly doubt the iPhone was any quicker.

X1 does look good, I didn't get on with the iPhone at all, found it very difficult to use and the texting was so slow. Had a go on the X1 and loved it, just got to save a bit of cash and get it.
