It's an interesting situation tbh... there is no reason why Tom shouldn't post in the excal off topic forum... the subject matter is supposed to be stuff not related to DAOC and hence it makes sense that Tom might have views or opinions about the topics there.

Fact is the regulars there have as much of an 'anti generalite' mindset as some generalites have 'anti daocer' in here, and that leads to Tom getting flamed in Excal OT just like some of them get flamed in here (though IMHO the DAOCers who get flamed in the general forum usually have it happen through silly posts rather than 'trying to intrude').

I could ramble for quite a while about the imbalances involved and the reasons behind them, but it's far simpler to say 'Bollox'

heh Adari gets upset because I 'invade' his post about GM, and argue my case; that he is ignorant, and naive. I point out what I think hes saying wrong, he can't respond intelligently (mainly because I'm correct), so he tells me to feck off etc etc, and some of his immature mates do the same.

I don't particularly troll there (well, most of the time), like Jup said I only go in the off-topic forums, mainly because some people post some interesting stuff (occasionally). If certain members have a problem with me, well, to quote someone else on this thread, bollox
