The funniest thing in daoc.

Is when an assasin goes into mezz poison pwn someone in a resting group and the target is being bodyguarded.

Seen it a couple of times when watching a FG rest and a NS will destealth drawning his weapons. There like this 1 second where his little sprite icon is stationary but you know on the other end of it some guy has just enough time to say "what the fuck" to himself before insta death to FG power.

I think me and the swede both did it once assisting on an NP caster resting in a group. They must have pissed their pants.

Haha yes ive seen this a couple times from the FG angle since i always leave BG on whilst resting outside a keep. And yes we pissed ourselves laughing on vent especially since the shade chose the only group member actually being bodyguarded.

We didnt kill the guy out of respect for how much he made us laugh.....

Wrong QB , cast summon wood and rooted myself mid brawl (kinda thing you never tell your group )

Been crafting, had crafter dagger equipped so I could carry more (+10 str), gone out RvR for about an hour before noticed I hadnt changed it back to my staff - more a doh thing.

I have on several early occasions of playing my scout attempted to bow someone to death from melee range before I worked out why he wasn't taking any damage!

I was an assisting caster in a duo. The Other caster had a target so i assisted and started nuking. Wasn't till after that she was see'ing what level the guards were on the keep

with my lowbie shade (rr2-rr3 at that time) i was stalking a caster at a non-portal keep. moved in range, engaged shadowstrike... time is ticking and... in the last half-second of the timer the caster moved out of range, doh!
i found myself teleported at a red guard that was passing by with my weapons out in a very aggressive stance

in my early days of daoc: fg mezzed..veeeery high rr... i went in and started bombing -> massive insults on ts!

then the story of the dude, who gave his SoK to a guard. or the one, where a dude dropped his tartaros staff just to pose around...went ld and tartaros was gone forever^^

I have the normal everyday one of AFKing stealthed, underwater with about 30s left on my water breathing charge...

Another time I jumped off a boat stealthed and dived underwater into a FGM. Pressed forward to swim away but actually hit one of my style keys and unstealthed...

Clicking on the door of an enemy tower I thought was ours a few times...then spamming "/s Enter/Exit" a few times...then dying to oil...

Any my best ever one (think I've posted this one before) when I'd just got ML9 on my Sorc. This requires bullet points;

• Charm Enhorning
• Fully buff Enhorning
• Release Enhorning
• Attempt to recharm Enhorning while on wrong qbar
• Insta str/con debuff Enhorning
• Get 2-shotted
