Baby Edward was born 2.05am, 2nd December, 7lbs 13ozs.

Not seen the baby yet but planning a trip to hospital later today with my digicam.

Are you going to hold him? I remember when my sister has her oldest and they made me hold him - I was absoutely terrified!! Get your own one, though, and you can juggle them within a few days... odd that :)

Newborns are a bit crap though. They just look wrinkly and sleep. All very cute and that but they're much better when they actually look at you with that 'wtf?' expression :)

I am not much of a fan of babies though, everyone is all happy going aww isnt it cute!! ... kind of looks like an alien to me... (in a nice way) :)

Well, I was reserving my clucking until I saw the baby, but he's really rather cute. All stumpy and warm and sleepy, and smelling like a cabbage patch kid. He's a bit jaundiced, so he's having to have some tests, but all in all he's a real sweetheart.

Congrats :)

This year I became an Uncle for the 6th time, and a Great Uncle as well. Yet have cunningly managed to not have any sprogs of my own :D

Nieces and nephews are great once you learn the signals.

Laughs = wants Uncle
Sleeps = wants Uncle
Cries = wants Mum
Smells = wants Mum

easy ;)

Widnes borders us with Liverpool, but we're not from Merseyside so therefor not scouse! :////

Altho Bro3 lives in Liverpool and his kids are all scousers...

In court every other day ;)
