About all this anti-american poor Iraqi ppl whining. You ppl seem to ignore that the current regime in Iraq is responsible for about 2million deaths not to mention the hundreds of thousands who have been tortured or raped because of their ethnic background or political ideologies. Iraqi militia is also going around in civilian and believe me it does not make a difference if the guy pulling the trigger is in a military uniform or even a child brainwashed by fanatics, the bullet will kill you just the same. There is no black and white in telling who is a civilian or not. The ppl there don't have the media luxuary we have here to see for ourselves whats going on or even the the simple right of being allowed to have an own opinion. I am not justifieing the american presence over those reasons I am just trying to point out that Iraq is not the paradise on earth for its population, with or without the Americans PPL will die there. And who knows with the removal of the current dictators the ppl might be going through a very, very rough time now but end up having a better future in a country where they can live without the fear of being taken away to never be seen again.

Final note, right now there is alot of western military personel in the middle east. None of them or at least not many of them decided for themselves they wanted to go, they are doing their job they are not to blame for being there. They too have wives children and family here and all of them deserve your support as its hard enough for alot of them without hearing this protest this and march that in the media. If you have a problem with their presence, direct it at the politicians BOTH sides instead of behaving like selfish ignorant prats.

Also, women In Iraq are treated very badly there. Don't get to vote, need to wear special clothes etc. Maybe when Saddam is dead and USA have taken control of Iraq women will get some justice. Or maybe that's a religous thing I dunno.

hmm, don't get why some people are being so anti-war.

Ok, no war then, we'll just continue to let Saddam stay in his evil dictatorship, killing any and all who are in his way.

Don't suppose you knew about him torturing his own family didja?

Aye, to remain in power he tortured and killed his own family, his own mother and father.

He pulled their nails from their fingers, their eyelids from their faces, stuck their arms in acid, beat them mercilessly, used thumb screws (imagine a ring with a screw sticking out of the top, that can be turned and go through the diameter of the ring).

Oh yes, let's stop this war and keep this man in power.

The man who kills thousands of his own people.

The man who threatens the planet with bio-nuclear warfare.

The man who is gonna blow up YOUR LOCAL PUB!!

Stop the anti-war crap, the war is being fought for a good reason, and no, it's not about the oil fields:rolleyes:.

Technically, the men don't get to vote in a dictatorship either. ;)
USA going to take control of Iraq... hah, it'll be civil war for years. A religious thing... hmmm, partly, more like a cultural thing though. Women have a very different role in Muslim societies but equality IS present.

USA isn't taking control of Iraq.

We're killing Saddam Hussein and the rest of the evil regime, and helping them to make their own government.

Revenge and oil is what this is about.......

When saddam falls which country will be next?

And about the nuclear crap! id like to see the US army move into china.....They too have nuclear warheads is any1 whining about this?

I just think its sad to send so many troopers to a country thousands of miles from their home and families, to die for a man thats frustrated and ignorant.

But then again the US have allways been to arrogant and still think they are the "police" of the world.

God Vietnam haev tought them nothing....

I hope they nail Saddam and bury him 9 feet under etc and stop hes regime, but still so many lives waisted to get 1 man is just utter stupidity....

The mans days and hours are ticking like the rest of us. He wont live forever...

We fear that he causes a nuclear war???? Yea sure, IF the man should use them dont you fucking think hell blow hes bombs off when he realises hes gonna loose???

No matter what the war downthere should be stopped asap, spare the lives of the civilians and the allied soldiers....

Just my thought anyway if u think elseway, feel free to do so....

Bush is very ignorant, he thinks he's liberating the Iraqi people but he's infact not doing so. Last time they walsed an army through Iraq the people were happy and they got slaughtered after that by the regime of Hussein. Thanks you very much US for the superb protection!

The Iraqi people won't make the same mistake this time, those people don't even know democracy. They have their normal life there and that's it. If you'd give them the right to vote they wouldn't know what do to with it.

The US has no right what so ever to determine the course of Iraq. They're killing thousands of people for a selfish cause - oil. The Iraqi don't want the Americans, so stay the hell away from there.

Besides, if the US didn't have that bloody arrogant attitude towards the Muslim countries in the middle-east they wouldn't have anything to fear from Hussein.

I'm not saying Hussein is a saint- nor am I saying all people in the US are ignorant- I'm just saying I highly disagree with the way Bush is waging war now. He is not qualified as a president of the most powerfull country in the world. But he started this shit, and he's pulling him and the rest of the western wold deeper in it, he better fix it. Fast.

Not doing so because last time they withdrew? (Which is what the UN told the coallition to do btw)

Not all Iraqi's live in total poverty. Shame on you for treating them all as idiots.

Who does have the right? The Iraqi "Government?", the people?
Some Iraqi people do in fact welcome the "Coallition", both those currently in Iraq, and those in asylum from the regime.

Is war ok if the UN says so?

It works both ways and has done for years. It's not only the US that has that attitude in the west either.
Both east and west work on the basic principle of unity via a common enemy.
Israel ofc is the muslim enemy, backed as a democracy by the US.

What qualifications does one need to be President then?

Did Bush start all this or was it started by Saddam in Kuwait, and he just danced his merry dance around the UN for 12 years?

I would also ask you (as Vesta seems to have left for the bandwagon) what difference does the war make to the US in terms of oil?

The Americans do the same in Iraq like they did in Germany 1945.

Get Rid off an Terror Regime. Then help building a new peacefull structure etc.Iam sure there would be more dead Civilians if they let Saddam continue his leadership.
