I can asure you 100%, that if I say there are no GM's online, there are none visible the way I look for them. If they choose to not be seen theres nothing the E&E can do about it, but at no time has a GM ever said to me, sorry tell the guy whos stuck in a wall there are no GM's around, im busy coding or whatever.

Which benifith my point further, thank you...

Muhahahahah. Now all we got to do is eliminate one more possible realm and we got you Requiel :D I bet you are one of us zerging albs :p

.. yep still bored :p

Nah, can't be. The times I've spoken to Requiel he is nice, polite and professional... that can't be an alb :)
so he must be a midgard player.
That been said, I think that, after having talked to him a few times, I should be able to make a psychological profile.

Requiel, though speaks (or types atleast) english extremely well, I still think he's french, probably lives in a city-type environment not too far from his work. He loves the anonimity and vibrance of the city. He likes to live at a higher floor, so he can oversee the streets a bit at night when he's home.
He is highly intelligent, yet not that much of a student, for he has difficulties accepting knowledge as is. He's between 25 and 30 yrs old. He doesn't have a dog, but he would like one, a not too big dog, bit smaller then a retriever, sporty, with preferably a shiny straight black fur. The reason he doesn't have a dog is because he spends too much time at work so he doesn't have time to walk him. he still lives on his own, but has a girlfriend with an apartment of her own aswell. they are planning to move in together but haven't yet. She works fulltime aswell, so the dog will have to wait a bit.

About the game part. Requiel would play a low-profile character, in a relatively small, but not to small guild, with a homey atmosphere. He isn't one of the superhigh RR'ers, yet not low either, something between 5 and 8. He has 1 account, perhaps 2. not because he wants or needs a buffbot, but because he wants to be able to play more characters.
He doesn't want to be a leading character. he likes to do his own thing and stay out of the spotlights.

And Requiel, am I close?
;)

The Goa office is in Paris, I live within walking distance.

If you've ever been to Paris, you'd know that everyone lives on a higher floor. Street level is mostly shops, apartments are above those.

Wrong. Close but wrong.

I used to have a Newfoundland, but I'd never have a dog that big in a city or have a dog at all unless there were people at home most of the day.

Wrong. I live with my wife. The dog part is true though.

Mostly true but I'm not going into detail. I actually have three accounts - 1 US and 2 EU but my second EU account is so I can have characters on different realms, I don't do the buffbot thing.

Crikey you make it too easy for us - its like playing "Guess Who" with only a few cards. A character who doesn't have a buffbot? :eek2: There can't be more than 1 or 2 ;)

I'm still waiting for a GM to log onto FH with their alt name (in error) and waffle on in GM-speak.

Actually Requiel did that once. Took him 2 minutes to notice the blunder and change the name again. :)

I think thats an unrealistic expectation. There are 3 GMs who work the English servers and a 4th for camlann. There a possible 9 combinations of realms who could ask questions.

Get a grip, if you think that the GM's have nothing better to do than spy on players, and copy your tactics for their advantage, you really really need a reality check.

I think the GOA staff that can be more than just game masters, and a lot of stuff can be just forwarded to Mythic... If a GM has to discuss if something is legal or not, then it is probably best treated as illegal, since using a loophole most would consider cheating can hurt the community badly.

And as I said, a GM who got the report about the tactic will use it, and I have no problem with that but would like to know, if it will result in half of hib/pryd using it or not. (Ie, if they will use it I will spread the idea more freely in my home realm)

Good, as I suspected you tend to avoid such "grey" areas such as buffbot use, etc. this is why I had the idea: If a GM doesn't want to hear some concept, he should have a chance to say: It is best told to another GM before hearing the specifics.

An that would be assuming that the three GM's don't all sit in the same general space and actually do something silly like talk to each other.

Noooo, don't say something like that. Your spread over 3 floors and aren't allowed to see each other, speak to each other or have any writen contact. In fact you don't know for sure if the others really exist and that they are not infact your boss just pretending there are people to lighten your work load if need be.
