How much booze do you drink on Christmas Eve?

Not had a drink since July time, even one glass doesn't seem to agree with me, and i'm at the point where i know how its going to make me feel, and therefore dont seem to be interested in it anymore.

I went out for my works Christmas meal last weekend, and i must say peoples fascination that i dont drink says more about them than anything else.

They cant seem to accept the fact that i dont drink, simply because i dont want to.

Yeap, more of people trying to force you into themselves for validation :p

Anything else = wrong!

I dont drink at home as a rule plus I spent christmas eve baking - gluten free sausage rolls, vege sausage rolls, cheese straws, chocolate cakes with fizzing candy, mince pies etc.

For me alcohol is a night out thing.

Dont get me wrong, i like having a drink, but i only ever drunk JD & Coke, i have never drunk beer/lager or wine, simply because i dont like the taste. but for the last few years the smallest amount of alcohol makes me feel so rough that i just dont bother anymore

I am quite shocked by how much I have drunk over Xmas to the point that I am seriously considering stopping all together. Bought 6 bottles from Tesco, got 4 as a gift and bought 2 in the pub. All gone...and that's since Wednesday last week (didn't drink any yesterday!) Going out with some friends today too. I am not usually a big drinker, perhaps a bottle of wine on a Friday or a few pints in the pub.

I think once I get new year out of the way I will looking at whether I want to drink any more.

2 bottles of St Estephe (Bordeaux), 4 cans of Speckled Hen, batch of delicious mulled cider (Jamie Oliver receipe) and half bottle of port.

I get this ALL the time. Once, when I was about 21 someone genuinely asked me "Why, are you Muslim?"

NO YOU FUCKING MORON I JUST DON'T LIKE SHIT. :D

I've spent all of Christmas in my parent's pub helping myself. It's been a very merry Christmas indeed.
