couple of hundred easily, mostly hardbacks.

First editions of most of Stephen King, James Herbert, Clive Barker.

Random sci-fi, fantasy and horror hardbacks and books on the occult. Original collections of poems by the greatest collection of Englishmen who ever lived, Keats, Byron, Shelley, Coleridge and a pile of history books on the period from 1000 to about 1600 covering the Crusades, Charlemagne, Suleiman the Magnificent and English history etc.

and a 200 year old copy of Le Morte d'Arthur I'm still trying to read :)

Always really, really enjoyed losing myself in a good book. It's still imo, one of the best ways of just escaping from all the crap that real life throws at you.

You can't seriously give me a choice "more then 1500" and think i won't choose it :eek6:

Though my Icefloat library of dark arts and ways to seduce a succubus, among other things, is quite extensive.

Would love to own a big collection for sure. Shagrat's collection looks great and we share similar interests. Out of all the books I have read though only a few really stick in my memory - Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (yeah yeah), War and Peace believe it or not - damn good read, and lots of Stephen King books - shit loads are in my memory come to think of it. At the moment though I am reading stuff about dead bodies which seems to be all the rage. Wish to hell I had built up a big stack for sure but then again you always need new books to read else you are only going over old ground. Yeah - old books are ok but I needs new books I tell you! Can anyone point me somewhere where I can get 10 or so books for a fiver or something including postage?

Loads, whenever I am forced into going into town I come back with a couple. Had to get rid of a load before we moved. moving again in a month so will have to get rid of some more. Will read pretty much anything except biographys or autobiographys, don't interest me in the slightest.

I've only read 4 biographies that I can think of: Michael Heseltine, Billy Connolly, Al Pacino, & Anthony Hopkins.

I have way too many books, I voted 50-100 but if i think about it, all the ones my brother has which I have read easily takes it too 200-300 without a doubt. I have to read, I love it so much, after I pick up one I have to finish it!

the Gaunts Ghosts series by Dan Abnett is awesome!

Less than I've read, more than I want to move somehow to my new Leeds location.

I clicked 151-300, but it's just a guess tbh. I think I'm right, but it might be slightly more.

There is also the question of what counts as book =) Comic books? Dictionaries? Encyclopaedias?

I guess if everything counts I might be in the next section =)

I'm generally a fantasy reader (shock).

Probably read about 80, and have at least that on my shelves I haven't got around to - I am a bit OCD with wanting to do stuff in order, for example I have 20 Terry Pratchett books and have only done the first 3.

Games and forums distract me!

And have 2 signed David Gemmell books that I'm afraid to open. Stupid I know.
