Ah man those beta days were awesome. People not knowing everything yet. Those battles were epic Seeing 2 patrols inc and know that we could die (and we did die). Nowadays you can own a patrol on your own ...

Beta till my thane was level 12, then release day on Euro, and still here for some weird reason..... must be that a like you sad lot or sommit

Played the beta from early January, made a lvl 20 warrior and 24 skald. I also had acces to one of the highest players on th server at that time Enki (lvl 40 skald).

Started within 15 minutes after opening the servers on day1.
I did take a 2 months break from the game early this year.

I remember Danish Huscarls standing in that ... the .. hmm .. vasudheim(?) or something, the city you have - on the stairs up to the church, /cheer .. and /vic at a camara-guy

And in beta i didn't even know there was such thing as RvR ... but i loved the "attack"-music

btw, they should remove the lvl-cap, very very silly thing.

No, I'm trying to find a shaman who I knew from beta, he was a great guy, name was with an F, I forgot it and due to a recent format c: lost all my screenies ((((((

Well he was a Troll shaman, and I'd like to play with him again lol he was so cool

Around level 24 he was then.

And to see if there are any familiar names that popped up, that I might know who are now playing Retail..

I myself was Corex, a level 20 shaman who was SUPER proud of wearing chain then, and very jelous of that black dressed hunter in RvR who owned every alb

Btw: Took me 3 weeks to get level 9, and like 1 month after the character wipe to obtain level 20 with my shaman

Ohhh! I remember getting the wretched cloak! IN day one of retail, I was the first person with the nicest looking cloak in town!

Damnit I lost those screenies :-(

Began to play on 22nd of February (one of the first days after release I think). Made a sorc first but started a firewizz because I didn't like the sorc at all. Firewizz was a good choice, since I still play him and enjoy him a lot.

I made a Thane on the beta - probably called illu too, but didn't lvl him up much as there was no point with all the characters being deleted. I think I got to lvl 8 or something.

But it was from there that I noticed that I'd like to try out the healer class, and that was my first proper character on Midguard.

And this all happened one day because in mIRC, Cadoras / Nightchill mentioned a great beta of a game he was playing called Dark Age of Camelot. I was like hmmmmm. Then he said let me send it to you and tell me what you think.

I got hooked from the start.
